Only one pair came near to comfy. They were cheapo ones from Brantano.

Every other pair I've tried have ripped the skin off my heels.

ones with strap are better coz they stop the heels rubbing up and down.

I had some from La Redoute that were elasticated, like this pair (but in olive green) - v comfortable. Even though I don't have scrawny feet, I do suffer from shoes rubbing the backs of my heels.

The first ones are ok, but look a little bit odd due to presence of almost-wedge. Like the double strap thing though.

Second ones are nice.

Have tried the elasticated type, but they were agony on the heels again.

No no... the second pair are lovely.

Yes, i find they are mostly too wide... like a pair of barges on my feet. But then I'm VERY thin of foot.

You sounded like me telling the dc's not to give up and find out how to do it, so felt the need to respond.

Yes - £65 is a bit steep, isn't it.

(well done Scanner - doing your first successful link is a MN milestone)
