I want it soooo badly but it's so wrong for my celtic pallor.

Tamdin Wed 19-Sep-07 17:05:43

I want it now too.
love netaporter.
unfortuantely I don't thin it owuld go with my skin tone either.
think it's meant for a dark haired olive skinned beauty.
I'm irish neei i say more!

It looks as though it might dye well, though (and a cotton/wool blend ought to, I think). But £90 is a lot to invest for an experiment (not as if you could return it if the dye-job didn't work, say).

It's gorgeous, I'd love it for work but it's SO short!

nangnangnang Wed 19-Sep-07 17:10:47

Nice thought Lemonaid but the last dyeing I did was when I put a red towel into a hot white wash. I'm not to be trusted with baby vests let alone a thing of beauty.

lemonaid Wed 19-Sep-07 17:16:13

It's just possible that you'd get better results using, y'know, proper fabric dye... grin

nangnangnang Wed 19-Sep-07 17:33:38

Actually the towel approach isn't bad. It all came out a nice uniform pink; shame it was my son and partner's clothes.

tiredemma Wed 19-Sep-07 17:43:36

who was the inspiration for this little number?

Maria VonTrapp???

Tortington Wed 19-Sep-07 17:45:15

tiredemma Wed 19-Sep-07 17:46:02

nangnangnang Wed 19-Sep-07 17:47:26

Hilarious. The last person I saw dressed like that was telling me to push.

lemonaid Wed 19-Sep-07 17:51:07

Pink is very in for men at the moment... grin

filthymindedvixen Wed 19-Sep-07 17:51:25

Thre are times when I am glad I was blessed with no money - I have no sense and the combination would be fatal....imagine walking around looking like Alsice n wonderland - or wore - Su pollard in Hi-di-hI..and thinking you looked fab because, well it's designer you know!

lilacclaire Wed 19-Sep-07 17:57:30

Phew, thought it was just me that thought it was vile.
Glad im also poor and unable to buy 'designer'

pyjamagirl Wed 19-Sep-07 18:08:10

nangnangnang Wed 19-Sep-07 18:08:53

PJgirl - any pics? that would make my day.

nailpolish Wed 19-Sep-07 18:11:27

i think youd get away with that dress (OP) if you wore something under it (dark polo neck or even just a long sleeved tshirt), teamed it with dark coloured jewellery

or is that v wrong

pyjamagirl Wed 19-Sep-07 18:12:02
