FB ad and the site looks dodgy. But I want a scarf like this!!!

One of those FB ads popped up on my feed and instantly I thought ‘too good to be true’ - for a start the mannequins used are inconsistent and I suspect it’s other people’s pics and the goods are shoddy copies. I’ve tried reverse image searching with no luck. But I bloody love the look of these oversized, fleece wrap scarves with buttons or clips to hold in place. I work at home in an old house and I’ve love to have one to snuggle into.

Any one know of any similar (that are legit) out there?

Thanks

Try ebay or amazon?

Of course - I really am dopey sometimes. I’ll have a look thank you. Still would like to know where the originals are from though!

I found it on FB too and thought exactly the same, love a scarf me...
I now have 7 items in my basket and have scoured the I internet for reviews but have found none.... other than 'its a new site we can't tell yet'
Gah...

There is a very similar one on eBay for £6 delivered but I still remain convinced that these are copied photos of some much more expensive versions. I’ve tried every search term for scarf/wrap/fleece/button/oversized/clip etc and nothing!

Plus there are two websites - judisusan and judysusan both selling the same. Very very dodgy.

Check out ivy cottage tweeds on Etsy. I had a friend looking for the exact same thing a little while ago. Had to hunt back through the conversation:)

REW clothing - I’ve bought a couple from there. UK small biz, quick dispatch.

Check the measurements on the judysusan site.

This one is 17 inches/45 cm long so it would look like this on a doll.

Two of their directors are based in Hong Kong. Judysusan owned by Qandies. Steer clear.

Thanks all. The links above to rew (love that stuff) and ivy cottage tweeds are lovely but wanted more of a soft snuggly fleece blanket round my next.

I’m actually going to have a go at making one. I’m fairly handily with a machine and make soft furnishings, and polar fleece is easy to sew.

Fingers crossed!

Have you name changed recently Joyjoyh? I generally find reviews more convincing if people have been around for a bit.

Haha. I just joined tonight. I was googling trying to find how to actually wrap the scarf and came across this post. I just joined so I could comment

Honestly, looks like a chinese company selling knockoffs of other people's work on German and Spanish etsy.

Just seen a Facebook ad and absolutely love their bold print tops and hoodies. Really, really want to order one but wish their site didn’t look so dodgy. The import tax and sizing information looks a bit strange too. If anyone else has ordered from them please let us know how it went.

@YippyKayakOtherBucketsthanks - just did an Etsy search and the one I liked on Judysusan (grey floral with a must and fleece lining) is indeed made by a German seller (she has some fabulous things but rightly they are not a tenner including postage!) so at very least they are copies and the photographs are someone else’s work.

@Joyjoyh can you post us a picture of yours in real life? What was the return address so we can see who operates from there? How comes it took a long delivery if it came from the U.K.?

I've took some pics. Just trying to work out how you add them to the post! Bare with me. I ordered 2 at the same time but they were dispatched separately. Which I didn't really give much thought at the time. Strangely they both arrived on the same day. The light grey one gas a return address as Middlesex and I've just noticed the return address for blue one is Hounslow. Also the grey is a large triangle and blue is a rectangle

If you’re on a mobile @Joyjoyh then you should have a paperclip button you can use to add photos but I may be wrong if you are new it may take time before you are permitted.
