Cream cleanser that removes eye make up too..

I'm after recommendations for a good cream cleanser that's good for removing eye make up too.
I used to use one by Elemis & Bobbi brown, rub them all over my face & eyes then use a hot muslin cloth to remove it. Felt lovely but now my budget won't allow a repeat purchase!

So any recommendations for something a little cheaper?

I use Ren Rosa Centifolia express makeup remover followed by the Ren Rosa Centofolia Cleansing Water which I use to rinse off the makeup remover/ cleanser.
Not sure how they compare price wise to Elemis/ Bobbi Brown.

Clarins gentle foaming cleanser takes everything off. Don’t need much and lasts for ages - I think it’s about £18?

I just use cold cream, couple of pound. Currently Boots traditional, but it's been discontinued so will switch to Ponds when I use my four jars of Boots I stocked up on when they were selling it off!

I've used Eve Lom for over a decade but on a whim tried this and it's fabulous - I use a fresh cotton flannel each day as I've found it works and feels better than muslin cloth - I buy a batch in Ikea www.superdrug.com/Skin/Face-Skin-Care/Face-Wipes/Superdrug-Vitamin-E-Hot-Cloth-Cleanser-200ml/p/282702

Oh Eve lom is gorgeous too. That sounds like a winner though @bingohandjob I'll give the Superdrug one a try.

I use the Superdrug Vitamin E stuff to wash my face but find it isn't great at shifting all my eye makeup, leaves black smudges (hence having to use cold cream on eyes)

L'Oreal Fine Flowers Cleansing Cream smells amazing and works a treat. £6.99 too!

Well I've just bought the ponds cold cream cleanser and although it did the job it was like tar trying to get it off my skin! Not bad for £4. I'll try the others as I go

I love ponds cold cream! I remove it with a hot face cloth and it leaves my skin feeling so moisturised.

I love Pai cleanser but it’s not cheap sadly. Sometimes they do 20% off or a free toner which makes it not so painful.

Trilogy very gentle cleansing cream. Dear-ish but good and a little goes a long way:

I use aqueous cream and a muslin cloth. It's about a fiver for a huge tub in boots. A dermatologist recommended it to me years ago and I've stuck with it.

I've been on the hunt for a good cream cleanser for months now. I've used Clarins in the past but found that it stung my eyes and then used Ponds for a couple of years but have since stopped because it contains a lot of mineral oil (same with the Avene cream cleanser and La Roche Posay which is disappointing) and I don't want it on my face.

For the past few weeks I have been using Weleda almond cleansing lotion which seems to do a good job.

Lostmyemailaddress Don't know if it still is, but Anne French used to be preserved with formaldehyde!

@rosewater09 Why don't you want mineral oil on your face? Too oily!

Clarins cream cleanser (the alpine one) is good at taking it all off and at the moment you can get it with the toner and a small eye make up remover for £24ish in Debenhams.

@Stillmonday Yes, I am worried about it clogging my pores. Once I stopped I using it, I noticed an improvement in my skin texture. This could all be a coincidence, and perhaps I am unfairly swayed by Caroline Hiron's hate of it. I also don't do well with cleansing oils.

Evolue Gentle Cream Cleanser. It’s £42, but it’s quite a big tube.

Ponds cold cream

Remove with either a hot cloth or wipe off with cotton wool and double cleanse with micellar water.
