Anyone else really impressed with No 7 make-up?

I am!

I bought my usual DW foundation on Saturday and then headed over to the No 7 counter.

I asked for a colour match and she went to do my face, but said that was a big no no for me and asked that she did my neck.

My shade came up as Honey... Matches me perfectly, even better than DW.

The finish is even better than DW, it looks more glowy without looking oily, etc.

I'm really impressed.

Today I returned the DW and for my money, I bought my foundation, a blusher and a setting powder to go on top.

Make up hasn't budged all day.

Over the moon 🌑

yeah i really like it too. Its high end quality for mid range prices. They quite often have offers on too

Bran Was 3 for 2 today, so quite good.

I annoyingly had to go back and buy further as I forgot about concealer

I really like their powder, bb cream, lipsticks and eyebrow pencil. Not keen on the mascara or eyeshadow though. But I've never found a brand where I like everything (but Bobbi Brown comes close)

I think it's marvellous. The lipsticks are some of the best I've tried, and way better than Charlotte Tilbury and Lancome at £25 a go! I love the Instant Radiance foundation and Airbrush powder. I got their new cleansing balm recently too and it's lovely. Their foundation colour matching was spot on for me and I have 4 of the lipsticks for my colouring, they're some of my most worn. It's a great brand

I can’t get my brain to work. What’s your usual brand, DW?

I really like the foundation

But, to actually answer your question, since Prescriptives went bust in the U.K. I’d moved to a Bobbi Brown foundation, but prefer the No.7 one I now use.

I'm wondering what DW is too! Clearly my brain isn't working either ....

Their lipsticks are amazing! You can wear them and they don’t smudge no matter how much kissing you do, your lips stay great (although guys might have a nice lipstick on now ;))

I've never got on with No7 make up. I've tried various bits but not liked any of it. Especially the mascaras, they're dreadful, really don't work for me.

I like the lift and luminate and I've found a colour that is PERFECT for me. Never found that before. I want to buy about ten bottles.

I like it too. Keep coming back to their foundations in preference to more expensive ones. I like Lift and Luminate and the Instant Radiance. I’m Cool Ivory.

Lipsticks are creamy and really good quality. I'm sad because I think they've discontinued my favourite which was (something like) Soft Rose.

The lift and luminate foundation is lovely, I use it all the time. The B.B. cream is excellent too.

I’ve only recently discovered lift and luminate too. It’s lovely! Excellent finish and perfect colour match.

DW is Estée Lauder double wear I assume?

no7 is the best, I haven't tried their make up but their skincare range is the best and they always give out vouchers

Has anyone tried the lipsticks from the Match Made app? I used it yesterday and only matched with one foundation (I am quite pale but was surprised that only the Stay Perfect one matches me) but several lipsticks. I am going into a store tomorrow to try them out as I usually stick to nude shades but have new hairstyle which needs bolder colour. Just wondered if anyone had success with it.

DW means Double Wear by Estée Lauder. Really good foundation that I usually always return to but I'm not keen on the overall finish

The foundation I bought today was Stay Perfect. I think it's really good but may have missed a trick since everyone is mentioning Lift and L! Not tried that one... what is the difference and does it stay on as long?

I think their powder brush is really good.

The foundation I bought is the only exact match to my skin tone that I've ever found Grin

Some of the counters have little cards with the foundation colours on and suggestions for lipstick colours. Great if you want a new shade but don't know what to go for.
