Ballerina-style slippers

I want a pair of these with, ideally, a fleecy or wool lining, and a decent non-slip or hard-ish sole.

A lot of the ones I've seen are very low-cut at the front (including Moshulu, which I know a lot of people swear by!), which to me just screams 'freezing tops of feet', so I'd like ones that come higher up the foot IYSWIM.

Budget is, sadly, very much high-street ideally in the sale rather than White Company, Toast et al.

my moshulus do not leave my feet cold! If that helps? and they are so brilliant, they last at least a couple of years. They also have lots of pre-xmas offers and codes if you sign up for email.

Yes, I do kind of like them but they just look so low-cut! (I'd be wearing them with bare feet). Maybe I'll take another look.

If what you want comes higher up the foot and has a fleecy lining... I don’t think that’s a ballet flat?

Mine just seem to cover more of my feet than the moshulus in the pictures, while still definitely being ballet style. But maybe I'm just misjudging how high/low the moshulus are compared to my current ones.

I could just order some and see, I suppose!

What size feet are you? I suspect the moshulu foot models have quite long feet (7/8's?) and I don't think as the size gets smaller that the front does, if that makes sense. These are mine on my size 5 feet with no socks. PJ legs on (apologies! Been in bed with a virus!)

M&S have a pair for £6. They are called gem ballerina slippers. The sole is soft though, and not hard wearing. They are super comfortable, that said.

Yes, I like slipper-boots for wearing while I'm sitting in my freezing spare boxroom home office in the day, but prefer a slipper I can just step into for night-time and overnight loo trips etc.
