What tights with this dress??

Thinking about wearing this dress to a party next week but my legs are very pale, pasty and scaly and hairy!

Nude tights ok in autumn/winter? Any recs for ones that make your legs look amazing and like you're not wearing any?

If not nude what else might work?

Thanks style gurus

Also any thoughts on the dress? Not the sort of thing I'd usually wear and can't decide if it's cool or disgusting (hasn't arrived yet)

That dress is lovely! M&S do a pair of 10 denier shape tights that are really comfortable. Have a browse there as they’ve loads of different types.

Ah thanks. Dress still hasn't arrived, so no idea what it looks like on...

I’m gutted this is out of stock. What a beautiful dress. I would wear black opaque tights with this. What shoes are you wearing? I would wear low ankle boots.

The dress is awesome. I’d wear it if I could pull of that neckline with my big boobs. I’d wear fairly thick black tights personally, leg slimming and makes a short skirt classier.

I think nude tights would look odd, have you tried Sally Hanson air brush legs?
It's like a spray on foundation which covers everything (not hairs, your gonna have to shave em off) and legs look ace.
But it does get everywhere so lay a sheet out first.

What a gorgeous dress!!

I would fake tan my legs as I’m not sure what tights would go with it.

Black opaques + black ankle boots all the way. Nudes are sooo hit and miss, and ask a lot more from your pins ... Fab dress!

That dress is fab and definitely calls for either bare legs (exfoliate and wax/shave then either Sally Hansen spray or St Moritz mousse are really good) or nice high quality, high denier but not wooly opaque tights).

Enjoy the dress, it's amazing.

I’d actually go for a high denier matt opaque pair in a jewel colour to match the one of the sequin colours on the dress.

I just saw those lovely glittery things (there's a skirt as well) at the Warehouse in Westfield the other day. I thought at the time they'd look great with leggings or opaque tights but you've got a number of colour options (not just black but maybe blue or purple/aubergine).

I think it depends on whether you mean to wear it as what was once known as a cocktail dress (with sheer tights and heels) or if it will be more of a fun, relaxed look (with opaque tights and flats or boots). I can't remember when I last wore a pair of sheer tights so I'd go for the latter option.

Back in the day I loved Warehouse silk dresses over a pair of leggings and all these years later they still do good quality clothes for the high street. They also make virtually the only pair of trousers that fit me in the crotch.

Having seen a lot of faux fur coats this season I think theirs is the one that doesn't look like it will fall apart by the spring.

Gorgeous dress I agree thick opaque sand black ankle boots would look great

Nice dress. I had something similar (but with more pinks in it) once. Wore it quite a bit. Dunno what happened to it.

I wore it with both opaques (60 denier-ish) and nude tights. Both worked and made the choice based on temperature"

I think nude tights would look great and I recommend Boots Medium Support tights as my scaly, veiny, white legs looks like a million dollars in them!

I would wear nudes. Anything else would be too much. Keep shoes neutral too.

Thick black tights. Black tights are always neutral.

Black opaques. You’ve got a flash of skin with the back part so it wouldn’t look too heavy and covered.

So I returned the dress Sad

Looked cool but it definitely wore me, if you know what I mean. And I just didn't know when I would wear it.

Will probably kick myself now.
