do you round up or down for height? Calling all half inchers [grin]

Kind of a petty thing to ask I guess but I've always wondered and I'm bored so..
for forms or drivers licenses, if you are 5'5 and 1/2..do you say you are 5'5 or 5'6? Since you're half way in between, both are equally true right..so do you go with the taller or shorter ?

These days I round down. It's easier than arguing the toss or getting the shortie jokes. I'm 5 foot.... (and half an inch)

I measured myself the other day and am five foot five and three quarters......I used to be five foot six and a half!!! So I'm rounding up. Grin

I'm 5 foot 3 and half and I never round up or down. I just say the half!

Up. There’s time for shrinking as we age!

6ft and half an inch here, I round down (as I assume I must be shrinking with age!)

I'm 5' 8.5 but generally I just say 5' 8.

Yeah I've been rounding down my whole life as I've always wanted to be shorter . I guess most are the same!

Although when I put my my height into the BMI calculator I do prefer to say I'm 5'6. Grin. Hey it's half true

I used to be 5ft. After a few years of yoga I grew to 5ft 1in. I am sure that as I move towards my sixties I am probably going to shrink but I will continue to round up!
