It's £200 though (got a 10% off discount code).

Would you spend this much on a shirt? OH being no help at all!

Yes I'd spend that on a silk shirt, but not that shirt.

ScarletFever · 19/03/2017 20:54

i wouldnt ( i also dont like it)

but then i dont spend huge amounts on single items of clothing - i think it looks quirky, but not expensive - maybe primarky (but i guess in primani it would be polyester and not silk)

I love it.

ProseccoBitch · 19/03/2017 20:54

No. But then I couldn't bring myself to spend £200 on any single item of clothing.

I wouldn't, but I don't have £200 to spend on a shirt. But if I did, I would bit that one.

Didn't Holly Willerby wear one similar on This Morning, and the Mail called her a kids TV presenter.

No. They could have at least cut the fabric so the rainbows weren't cut in half at the shoulders. I would expect a very high level of detail in something with such a high pricetag.

But i would never spend that much on anything other than a wedding dress, so there's that.

hmm..thing is style wise it's very 'me'. I could see myself wearing it lots.

I guess I wondered if £200 was obscene for a silk shirt.

I love it. Would have to seriously consider the price tag though

Report
BoBaraMoMara · 19/03/2017 20:58

It's not obscene amount.

I wouldn't buy that shirt. I'd look like an eedjit and my friends would probably arrange an intervention due to concern.

PurplePen · 19/03/2017 20:59

If you'd wear it lots then buy it, cost per wear it'll be worth it.

Yes - I couldn't put my finger on it but That's what I don't like about it - as a PP pointed out, for that money you'd expect the cut around the shoulders to not disrupt the pattern.

Up above the streets and houses, rainbow climbing high, Everyone can see it smiling over the sky
Is that you Bungle?

DavetheCat2001 · 19/03/2017 20:59

Yeah, it's pricey I know.

I guess I could just see me getting a lot of wear out of it.

Actually I'm trying to justify buying something that I know is expensive and I don't technically need!

I love it but there's no way I could spend that much on a shirt.

What think you of this one?:

If you really like it, then definitely buy it. I have a couple of more expensive pieces that I treasure and get so much joy out of wearing.

FWIW, I think it's lovely and if I had any spare money (and didn't have a huge baby bump) then I would be snapping it up too!

Oooh I like the rainbow shirt. I wouldn't spend £200 on it because I haven't got that sort of budget but if I did....

Report
pictish · 19/03/2017 21:05

Ok but no to the flamingos for the simple reason that it looks like something you could buy in ASDA for a fraction of the price.

Report
TeamRick · 19/03/2017 21:05

I like the flamingo one better! That's lovely!

Report
PurplePen · 19/03/2017 21:07

No, the flamingo one looks cheap.

Report
DavetheCat2001 · 19/03/2017 21:09

Ok, well I might order the rainbow one, and see whether it looks worth the £££ in the flesh, and if not it can go back.

I wouldn't as I'm so messy I know I would ruin it in no time by snagging it or spilling grease on it.

I love the pattern but not keen on the bow. And I think it would be better with tailored trousers or skirt rather than jeans.

Babymamamama · 19/03/2017 21:12

It doesn't look worth the money. Colours too garish imo.

bionicant · 19/03/2017 21:13

def order then judge for yourself. as for the cut both arms seem to be symmetrical in the design...the one holly willy is wearing in \link{https://tabithawebb.co.uk/spotted-wearing-tw\this link} is nicer imo. but also the celebrities all wearing the designs would put me off Grin
