But would it be tricky to carry the ruffles off? Would it be flappy and annoying? Please talk me either in or out of it...

Have you tried it out on? I often find that dresses in sales that are quite discounted have a weird fit! That said its a lovely dress.

No I've just been looking online. I do need a new dress but ideally not a black one. Thank you for replying I bet you are right & its a funny fit.

I do have boobs...No offence to the model but showing it on 'Jordan who is 5 foot 9 and wears a size XS' is not helping me work out how it would look on me!

I tried that dress on, the material was really flimsy so it didn't hang very well and it was a strange shape/fit. I'm a quite averagely shaped size 10.

It looks low cut enough that you'd have to go braless, I think. Depends if that works for you- I wouldn't.
