What to wear with this skirt?

I've had this skirt for a few years, never got much wear out of it as I got pregnant and gained lots of weight soon after buying it. I finally fit into it again!

Have a wedding to go to in a few weeks with a "day after bbq" and was thinking this would be perfect. How would you style it? I'm a 12-14(more a 12 on top, and hopefully a 12 all over by the time the wedding arrives!) hourglass shape.

What to wear with this skirt?

It's midi length by the way.

Elegant skirt needs an elegant top for a wedding. Maybe a cross over fitted not too long if wearing it over the waistband. A tuck in blouse wd work too as you are hour glass shape.Sorry can't do pics.

Pale grey thin nice tshirt tucked in.
Flat leather sandals in brown?

I like the idea of a grey/cream fitted t-shirt tucked in. Although finding a fitted t-shirt with a v neck is easier said than done. I'll peruse asos tonight.

I think delicate gold or silver sandals ( depending on your colouring)
I'd wear it with a very delicate top & possibly a cream/oatmeal summer cardigan.

Oh, and the top should be as neutral as will suit your colouring. :)
A type of shell top.

Pink love the J-Crew t-shirts. Only available in xs and xl but I'll keep an eye on there. Never even occurred to me to look at Boden or All Saints- got into a bit of a rut after gaining weight and stuck to shops where I knew I'd squeeze into something.
