Kim K's taped cleavage

boobtaper · 07/05/2016 20:09

longtime lurker, hoping s&b folk can advise me!

has anyone tried this?! Or something similar. It seems ridiculous but it looks like it works!

I'm a bridesmaid next week and my dress is a bit booby and mine aren't so...perky as they used to be.

I'm a double D so those stick on bra things wouldn't hold the weight!

No BUT back when people wouldn't mind to see a bit of boobs instead of throw up at the sight of my baps. I used to use chicken fillets and a strapless bra. It holds all up exceedingly well. And I'm a D.

It's a joke surely??
Those boobs look fairly well.....scaffolded from the inside, they don't look like they need any external support.

But if it is true, how on earth does she get the tape off without ripping off her nipples???

I can't even wear a strapless bra with this dress I don't think, it's quite low: thanks for the tip though! It's pretty hard to work with the dress style and my enormous boobs. I may be an E realistically

But it's all wrinkled and bumpy. Surely it will show under the dress?

And I mean the tape, obvs.

It's about reducing movement rather than giving lift in her case, surely?

What sort of tape is she using? DUct tape is very gentle for skin (hard to believe but true). TBH I'd give it a crack for an evening at home and see how it goes, I can actually imagine it working on my frontage and that's as saggy as it gets.

I think it's gaffer tape which is apparently different than duct tape (I did not know that before today)

Oh, hang on. So. you don't know your proper size. There are backless bras and bodies about.

You need to measure using this guide. Scroll down.

I guess it may depend on the dress - if it's a heavy fabric, esp beaded etc. When J-Lo appeared in that dress that joined together for about 3cm just above her hoo-ha I doubt she could have used parcel tape like KK here as that was a very sheer fabric.

It is indeed. I've not tried gaffer tape on skin, duct tape is worth a punt - need to test for reaction and ease of removal with a little strip stuck onto your inner arm where it bends.

You need K tape. My sister did all of my bridesmaids with it - apparently something she was shown by a stylist and has been doing for years. It worked like a dream, I would suggest some practice and perhaps something to cover your actual nipple that you can tape over to make it easier (less painful) to remove.

MrsLettuce · 07/05/2016 20:36

That'd work a treat and it does usually come in a couple of skin tones. It's designed to work for quite a while and is so painful to remove. You'd certainly want to protect the nipples in any case - a rub of vaseline will stop anything sticking.

Agree about practice.

Yes kinesiology tape. The advice from my sister is to remove in the shower... You could use a nipple cover - the petal ones should work well to protect the nips.

I used to do this when I was a young party type, used duct tape, fine with a Lacey/thick dress or top.

Put nipple pads on or a bit of tissue over your nipples so when you take off the tape it doesn't hurt!

I'm ashamed enough to say I've tried this (size E). It worked wonders
