Have heard good things written about her products especially cleansing balm but don not know anyone who actually uses it.

Am looking to try a balm cleanser to remove all make up and toying with Hardie's or the Clinique take the day off. I wear contact lenses.

I've used it, and I don't really rate it that highly. I really have to work it around the eye area to get rid of make up and I don't wear waterproof mascara or anything particularly heavy. Then that makes my eyes blurry. I've not used the Take the Day Off balm, but I do love the oil. It's not actually an oil, but feels like one.

Hardie's is nice but can sting a bit (due to the frangrances) when I'm on a tretinoin kick. Take The Day Off Balm is just like lard - smear it on, takes everything off but without the pretty scent...and stinging.

The more make up you're wearing, the more satisfying TTDO is, gentle yet wonderfully effective.

I like the Elemis balm too, it falls somewhere between Hardie and TTDO.

Take the Day Off is my pick. Emma Hardie looks gorgeous but I don't like the smell and also it often crystallises in the tub after a while :/

The body shop camomile one in a tin is cheap good.

I really liked the cleansing balm but I don't think it's worth the price. The Body Shop's camomile cleansing balm is on par with it and much cheaper.

It probably isn't worth the price but I love the smell and like the texture. Take the Day off balm is very effective bit doesn't feel like a treat. I hear the Clinique Oil is great. I really rate Clarins Pure Melt Cleansing Gel.

I really disliked the cleansing balm - very highly perfumed and made my eyes sting a LOT. I currently use Body Shop camomile cleansing oil & it's fab, especially with eye makeup.

I bought the cleansing balm after seeing rave reviews about it.

It's VERY highly scented. I like Moringa. I like quite scented products. But this was so perfumed it was almost overwhelming. Apart from that it melts nicely and removes makeup well - I used it as a first cleanse product. All OK but nothing exceptional and IMO I didn't get anything from it to justify the price.

I have tried various balm cleansers from cheap to expensive and have not found anything to beat my standby oil cleanser, which is The Body Shop's silky camomile oil cleanser. It has great slip, a little goes a long way, it nukes mascara, it's not very perfumed, it's gentle, it emulsifies into a lovely milk when you add water. It would be a desert island product for me without hesitation. I live in fear of TBS stopping manufacture.

I love Clinique take the day off balm. It may not smell of anything but always does a great job

I bl**dy love the Emma Hardie moringa cleansing balm. I've almost finished the giant tub, bought last August, and I've never had any problems with stinging.

Perhaps I just have skin like a rhino? Anyway I think it's worth the money. Smells gorgeous, works well, lasts ages.
