What shoes would you wear with this dress...

lovely polka dot dress

I'm more of a DMs and ballet flats type of girl so I have no idea.

Any suggestions?

TIA

Red/gold/silver shoes would be nice.

Low heeled peep toes. Colour as per lighthouse.

I would wear a heeled peep toe but I think you could get away with a flat peep toe as well.

For what occasion? It's a gorgeous dress that could be dressed up with heels for an event, but would equally look lovely with flat shoes for a day at the beach

You have so many choices:
Red would look gorgeous
Navy
or white too
Nude would work
In that order

Ballet flats would be just fine with that, if that's what you're comfortable in. Coral works well with navy.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Unfortunately, it arrived and doesn't fit! Back to the drawing board. It would have looked lovely too...

Stiletto sling-backs to go with the 50-60s vibe.

Here are some 1950s style shoes as the lovely dress is 1950s-like. Of these either heels or ballet flats. If this will be worn May on wards through the summer, then I think white heels would look pretty. But to look less party like navy heels.

I have also seen the unusual combination of sneakers and short socks (old fashioned style tennis shoes before we had trainers) and a dress like this with super fashionable young girls.
