what do you think of this sandals?

I need opinions please. I am short but need comfortable footwear so usually go for flatform wedges of around 6cm height. They usually tend to be ugly shoes if I'm honest but I need the height to make my overall outfit look nice. It can sometimes be difficult to pull off a csual look when I'm wearing high wedges but I was thinking these might work: www.asos.com/asos/asos-this-is-it-leather-lace-up-flatforms/prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=5295048&clr=Nudesnake&searchterm=flatform+sandals&pgesize=36&pge=0&totalstyles=42&gridsize=3&gridrow=4&gridcolumn=2

I'd love some opinions and also, do you thin they will make my feet relly sweaty as the sole looks plasticky?

They are a great deal less heinous than I feared after reading your description! They are not bad at all.

Gosh, really do not like them. What's with the lace things tied at the back?

I wouldn't be seen dead in them but of course that is just my opinion (sorry to sound so rude)

They look extremely cheap and plasticky. And heavy.

I think they look horrible and uncomfortable.

Really like the first ones. Way nicer than the rose gold ones IMO.

The second ones look better quality.

They are horrible. Too much plasticky sole and skinny black laces going on.

CakeNinja · 26/07/2015 15:42

Second ones are far far far nicer than those first ones which look really awful Imo.
I wouldn't wear them myself but I wouldn't look at them in the street and inwardly gasp like I may at the first ones!
But you're limited in what you can wear so ultimately, choose what's the most comfortable and practical for you.
Who cares what we think?

Ah now I like the second ones far more than the first ones.
However: I have no 'shoe taste', I'm currently wearing the brightest orange Skechers Go Walks. So I mustn't be allowed a shoe opinion.

Whats your dress size op if you dont mind me asking?

The reason i ask is that i think size 6,8,10 people with clumpy shoes on look ridiculous when they have a dainty body

Report
Roussette · 26/07/2015 15:46

Sorry, second ones are no better but perhaps it is me and I just don't like that style of shoe!

quirkychick · 26/07/2015 15:46

I really like both of them Smile. But I like chunky flatforms. I find they are more supportive than very flat shoes.

I like the second pair. The first ones are horrible. I'd imaging it would be difficult to walk in them without stomping.

First are awful Blush go for the second pair

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 26/07/2015 16:05

Sorry but I really don't like either of them. I don't like flatforms, and the second pair are ugly and clunky (imho and feel free to ignore me!) and I don't like the colour.

I wouldn't say they're necessarily pretty shoes but how does one gain some height (at least 5 cm) and still look casual? Ugly shoes to the rescue, everytime.

What about those Lotta from Stockholm clogs?

I wouldn't wear either pair op. Both very heavy and clumpy looking and the first pair look cheap. Sorry! Blush
