Quite excited about Whistles sale, I hope everything reduced is not polyester.

I think that the Jigsaw sale may be imminent. I was in there today and the assistants were on me like a pack of hyenas. I suspect they have been incentivised to sell, sell, sell before the sale begins!

When I worked in a store, we used to write a code price on the tags before the sale began in tiny writing so we could ticket them quickly when the sale began. It was a rubbish code, something like:

S1850S = Summer Sale, £18.50

Lesley I see what you mean about the Whistles sale, I haven't bought anything!

Nettle interesting re: Jigsaw as they usually have a very late sale. Maybe it's because the weather's been crap and they have a ton of Summer clothes to shift.

I'm holding out for the Anya Hindmarch/Net a Porter/Harrods sales as I would like a maxi zip cross body. I reckon this year I am finally going to do what I always want to but fail at - buying only one or two more expensive items instead of armfuls of junk...
