Comfy shoes

So yet again I'm sporting some very fetching blisters on the heels of my feet after going to the park with DC.

I must have over 30 pairs of shoes/trainers/sandals, etc. all of which rub my feet apart from one pair of soft flats from next.

Can anyone recommend a comfy pair of shoes or sandals? Also a pair of shoes for walking around the park in. Not too clumpy please.

Many thanks.

I like to wear alpargatas, I picked up 2 really comfy pairs in New Look yesterday for just 14 pounds! (On sale).

For trainers I swear by Asics for the most comfort. Nike used to be great but seem to be messing around with their styles recently. If you're getting blisters try two pairs of socks, one thin and one thicker like a men's sport sock.

Nude Carosel ride from Clarks. Like wearing slippers! Think they were £30?!

Sketchers Go Walk are the most comfortable shoes ever.

Another vote for skechers go walk too!
Spend the first day in a new pair on the school trip, walked everywhere, didn't wear socks and my feet were absolutely fine. I was so pleased as this has never happened before

I have the Mary Jane ones. I wore them all last week on holiday. They are even more comfortable than my slippers. They can be washed in the washing machine as well.

Sorry! They're like canvas pumps/deck shoes usually with a rope sole. They are really cool and airy for your feet in summer. Also you can wash them with a sponge. Maybe they are known by a different name, if you search alpargatas you should be able to see what I mean. Sorry for confusion!

Faced with a choice between blisters and ugly shoes, I'd take the blisters every time. Though my experiment with Birkenstocks left me with blisters and ugly shoes.

Compeed and socks will help too.

Clarks Originals flats have been most comfortable and I've tried lots of shoes over the years! I get most of mine new on eBay.

Also Compeed anti blister stick applied on feet before wearing any possibly rubbing shoes.

birkenstock mayari - quite hard to find if you want a size 6 but quite a few on ebay. I have just bought a second pair to replace my current ones, having worn them out. Wear them everyday, and they're a bit less lentilly than some birkies.

Another vote for Skechers go walks - they have revolutionised my life (although I am prone to exaggerate!)

I have some Skechers, they are like walking on clouds. Though the canvas top part over the foot are not very 'thick / stable' on mine. My Skechers came up quite big as well, I could of done with going down half a size or even a full size smaller.
