Anyone who has ever ordered from the Ewa Michalak website

I have just ordered three bras from the EM site. Total cost of bras was 447 zl, with 27zl delivery costs, so it showed 'total' 474 zl.

So far so good...but when I made the payment by paypal, it suddenly said 'payment 504.26zl' with no explanation of where this other 30zl or so has come from.

Has this happened to anyone else? The bras were in sizes that were showing on the website as being available, so I don't think its a charge for custom making them. I hope not anyway, as I'm hoping to be able to return them if they aren't right...I'm in a bit of a cold sweat now!

I don't think its additional international delivery charges, because initially my order qualified for free delivery, until I put my address in and that's when the 27 zl postage appeared.

I haven't but am assuming its an overseas site so is it possibly customs duties?

Ah yes, I never thought of that. Its a Polish site. Are there customs duties from Poland, even though its in the EU? I'm clueless...

There's postage costs and a 6% paypay fee.

Blush thank you! I tried to find the info on the site but couldn't get it in English, even though I thought I had clicked on the wee UK flag at the top of the screen.

It must be a paypal surcharge. Which is a bit frustrating, as that was the only option it would give me for payment!

It's only free postage inside Poland (I think!).

Also, make sure you keep all the paperwork that comes with the order and follow the returns instructions to the letter.

yeah, I knew the postage wouldn't be free with delivery to the UK, I was expecting the 27zl delivery charge, it was just the other surcharge that took me by surprise.

Ah well, it will be worth it if I get amazing bras!

I'd love to order from them but I just can't work out the sizes! Blush

It will be the paypal fee.

allinafankle, what do you wear just now and in which bras/brands. The sizing is pretty close to UK standard.

EwaM bras are freaking awesome

No customs duties, they're just delivered by Royal Mail

I'm so excited, I'm expecting my (ample) bosom to be hoiked up so high I can rest my chin on it if my neck gets tired Wink

I was fitted at Bravissimo and am a 38F in Curvy Kate, Panache etc.

Treacle I find them very comfortable. Truly love them. Which ones did you go for? I particularly love the narrow gores but they really shove everything up and forward

Allinafankle I wear a slightly different size in curvy kates to panaches (i find panache bigger in the cup). My Cleos (made by panache) are pretty much all 30H, and all bar one of my Ewas are 30HH, so one cup up from there. I think you will be in their standard size range though so they are returnable and the postage isn't too horrific.

I ordered 3 different styles, the CH Lilia, The S Grace and something else...

S Porcelanka, thats the other one.

I'm between 32G and 32GG in most standard brands, so I went for 32GG in all 3, hope they fit.

Sorry for butting in but are any of the EM bras made from a four part cup like the Panache Jasmine/ Envy?

Report
StatisticallyChallenged · 23/02/2014 20:23

I have a CH Lilia, and it seems to run smaller (I'd forgotten about it as I haven't actually worn it and bought it ages ago!).

I'm a big fan of the S styles.

Kosher I don't think any of them are 4 part - what is it about the 4 part ones you like? EMs are particularly good at moving your boobs forward!

I take a 30GG in Panache and Cleo bras.

I have two CH style bras (Karmelki and Bizkopty) and one CHP (cappuccino).

The Karmelki is a 32G, the Bizkopty a 32GG and the Cappucino a 30GG. So, some variation there! I'd say they all fit like a Cleo 30GG.

oh, I hope at least one of them is a decent fit!

I'm finding 32 to be verging on too big, as I've lost a bit of weight, but I didn't want to order a 30 as I'd seen people say that they found them tight in the band. Fingers crossed!

At least they are all standard so it will give you a good idea even if not quite right. My first EM order I basically ordered the closest sizes they had to me that were standard (I think they had one 30HH available, and a few 32GGs) which was close enough for me to be able to work out the right size to order. Was well worth it.

they arrived!

Awesome shape, very comfortable, and DH's eyes nearly popped out of his head when he wandered into our room whilst I was peering in the mirror checking the fit of one of them.

Perhaps a little inconsistent in the sizing though. They're all good in the band but one of them is almost on the verge of being too big in the cup, one is on the verge of being too small and one is just right.

I'd say the 32 band is perfect for me as I find a 32 in most brands to be a bit loose but a 30 to be a bit too tight.
