gave up with lipstick a long time ago and now just use a lipbalm , mainly because i can never get the colour right and always think it makes me look 'old'
can anyone help me find a lipstick or gloss , a nude type one , you know , a my lips but better type thing ?

i am pale , pinky tones ( i think) blue eyes , blonde hair . very fair eye brows and lashes , so have to use pencil and mascara , other than that i just use keihls palest bb cream .

Try Clinique Melon Chubby Stick.

It's more like a coloured lipbalm than a gloss, but IMO it's pretty universally appealing. It's a nudey, corally gloss and I love it.

It's bonus time in Debenhams till Saturday as well Wink

Try the new bourjois shine edition lipstick. It's very glossy & lovely colours. Why don't you try the coral one if you are quite pale?

I really rate the Soap and Glory ones. Have gone from never wearing lipstick because of hating the feel/taste of it, to wearing it all the time and feeling naked without it!

Soap and Glory's sexy mother pucker gloss stick in Nudest.
My mid length hair doesn't stick to it.
Clarins livres éclat good too and no nasty taste.

I like Bobbi brown. Mac are very good to, if it's brands you're after.

I really love the chubbi stick tho from Clinique for a swipe of colour. Got a pretty pink natural one as well as a purple and love both.

I am very similar to you in colouring. I got a great one as a free sample from Clarins called Soft Berry - shade 705. It's pinky and neutral and not at all 'berry' coloured IMO.

I also like Kate Moss for Rimmel shade 08 for one very slightly darker and Revlon 810 Pink Sizzle for a bit 'pinker' IYKWIM.

Also it's worth saying that I'd never paint it on - because I feel the same as you about it looking 'old' and feeling self conscious. I dab the colour in and apply something glossy over the top - eight hour cream usually.

I mention this so you're not put off by colours that look too strong in the tube. The Revlon will look really bright but it looks lovely on if applied like this - makes your eyes look bluer and your teeth whiter!

Revlon pink truffle is a great semi-sheer pink/brown nude.
