that is lovely! just bought it! I'll think about what to put with it for your party but i would probably wear with a grey cashmere t shirt/top and some sandals.

Ivory/pale gold fine knit top? Pale gold kitten heels?

Well I like it. Yes , was thinking a matte gold or cream tshirt. Top shop had it styled with a green jacket which was scary.
Would you wear fitted top or loose?
It is knee length on me and sits well.

I would say a fitted top, tucked in to balance out all the fullness. And something fairly plain because the skirt is quite fancy.

I like it op, I'm very drawn to this shape but haven't taken the plunge yet - partly because I've not worked out how to wear it so I will watch with interest!

Love the skirt... V trendy. I'd wear with grey cashmere fitted jumper too. And gold heels if possible. Bit of a messy up-do maybe? (Hitchcock-esque but not so neat/prim)

I really like that first top and the shell one from Hobbs . I think the second one might be a bit mono-boob on meGrin
Thanks what todo Thanks
I'm going to be on my feet all night I think so kitten heels might be best

Depends if it is more coral or pink in real life. If pink I would go navy on top, with coral a turquoise. If you have the figure a cami top. River Island have a good turquoise one for £12.

Really glad you posted that link as the model is wearing the burn out tee in a v neck, I didn't realise that they did it with a v neck, so will have to get some.

Enrique - Grin be still my beating heart at ALL those shoes!! The Moschino ones are divine.
Have compared the orangey top but it is def too close and not quite right unfortunately. The skirt is almost smoked salmon with a metallic sheen to it. The dvf Cardi would be too long I think.
The skirt is slightly late 50s early 60s shape. I am veering towards a vintage vibe and thus love the ankle strap shoes : tbar or winkle picker or slingback might also work.

I have pinned all the links on a Pinterest board for comparison.
Enrique if I was a coffee skinned brunette that isme top with the skirt might be spectacular. As a blonde I think it might be even too much at Xmas Grin love it though

I want the Moschino shoes myself now Blush

I get carried away and just like gathering pretty things like a magpie.

Those shoes you found macrame look like a steal and should be really comfortable for standing. Mind you I have a pair of really high DVF heels that I wore for an all day wedding on the hottest day of the year and they were fine.

Didn't think any of the things I found were quite right. I did find a shortish (nearly cropped) loose top, sleeveless with a roll collar that I thought was a good shape, but wrong colour.

Thanks Enrique Thanks
Yes too Germolene I thinkGrin.
I'm going to have to take the skirt around in my bag to get a good top I think. I so wish I was one of those people who could wear clashing exciting mixes , but I think for this event I need to be a little circumspect and stick to co-ordinated rather than avant-guard.Wink

I bought a very similar top to the the pink crepe one (whistles) just before Xmas in white - that would look lovely for your do with some heels. I would defo clash the shoes if you can bear it though.
