Blowfish boots?

Hi,

I'm looking for some grey boots, either ankle length or mid calf. There are quite a lot of blowfish ones I like eg. these and these or these. However I'm not sure what the quality will be like as they aren't real leather. Although they are relatively cheap, I don't have money to throw away on boots which won't last! Anyone know what the quality is like?

I've also found these which are real leather for not that much more money. However they seem a bit...boring in comparison.

What should I do? Are there some cheap real leather boots out there which are a bit funkier than the clarks ones? Or can someone help me find blowfish ones for really really cheap so it doesn't matter if they last.

Thanks!

I had a pair of blowfish ankle boots for 3 years, they were lovely and comfortable to walk in. Unfortunately, they started letting in water this year (their 3rd winter) so I threw them out.

I almost always go for Clarks boots - they are great quality and last forever. Have never had Blowfish though. I have a great pair of leather Rocket Dog boots which are lasting well.

I've been wearing blowfish boots all winter and they are holding up fine. I don't wear leather so never expect my boots to last more than a winter but there are still looking great despite wearing almost every day for 3 months.

Mine only lasted a short time, but I walk a lot and in the wet a lot so it may depend how you use them.

I have two pairs of blowfish and they are the comfiest boots I have ever owned. Would highly recommend them.

Rocket Dog don't make leather boots IIRC.

I had some blowfish boots. I bought them in October and they were dead by January. Hmm

I wore through the heels - not a lot of walking but I wore them everyday.
The fake leather finish peeled away from where they were glued to the sole, so they leaked too.

The rocket dog ones I bought to replace them lasted much better.
Best of all are my DMs. :)

I gad a pair of blowfish boots but ended up selling them on ebay as they were a bit too chunky for my liking. I bought some rocket fog boots instead and LOVE them, they are super comfy.

How are the boots lasting mrsbug?

I bought same pair in black 'leather' 2 months ago and now top layer has worn through in 3 different places and internet co I bought through are refusing to refund as they say

'Please note the life expectancy of any product depends on the individual using the product, the conditions of use, and the characteristic wear patterns of the user. Products damaged by normal wear and tear or that have exceeded the reasonable life of the product are not replaceable or refundable.'

I'm livid.
