Do you use MAC Prep + Prime or Revlon Eye Primer?

Does anyone use the MAC Prep + Prime Highlighter pen?
Is it worth the £18 price tag?

Have also been told that Revlon Photoready Eye Primer is a good dupe?

Has anyone's tried these, can you make a recommendation.
I'm looking for something to highlight the eye area and middle section of my face

Thank you Smile

I wouldn't go for either of them. I swear by Too Faced eye primer called Shadow Insurance. There is also an Urban Decay one that gets a lot of love but it made my eyes dry and sore.

I bought the MAC one last week for the same reason Grin I got 'Light Boost' which is very yellow toned but perfect for my medium-dark Asian skin tone. The MAC lady applied it 'Kardashian' style on me in that upside down triangular way under the eyes/topic cheekbones and it does work! Need to be quite light handed with it as a little goes a long way and you need to contour with a bit of matte bronzer to get the best effect.

I'm sure if you don't require such a specific shade as me you could pick up a cheaper version in Boots? (they weren't dark or yellow toned enough for me.)

Love here for Urban Decay eye primer. I never knew that eyeshadow could actually stay on for several hours before trying this!

I think so (though early days), purely based on the fact the colour is dark and yellow enough for me and its not too shimmery or sparkly. What's your skin tone? You could also use a concealer or foundation 2/3 shades lighter than your normal shade for that KK glow. I just find the clicky pen easy to use.

Have tried Nars, Laura Mercer & Urban Decay and would prefer the LM one out of the 3 but I guess it depends what you want it for. LM gives my eyeshadow the best staying power.

If you're wanting something to highlight your cheekbones and brow area though it's not a primer you should go for it's a highlighter - something like Benefit High Beam or similar.

Are you wanting an eyelid primer, to apply under eyeshadow, or a undereye highlighter/concealer? The Revlon Photoready is supposed to do both, but all the other products on this thread do one function or the other.

Think OP wants more of a highlighter pen? Confusingly MAC call theirs Prep & Prime!
