interview dress.... any one seen anything

I have an interview for a job. It's a professional healthcare setting, that may also require me to attend court (think social worker who might go to Mental health act meetings.... only that's not the job)..... It's a junior'ish job so I don't want to be too formal, nor under-dressed. I've got a tweed skirt and neutral top, but have decided it makes me look like Miss Marple Grin. I've got a blue jersey LK Bennett dress, but it's got a dropped back, I could wear a cardi over the top but then would worry about being asked to take it off.... sigh... I've got some very smart grey wool wide legged trousers, but feel they are more 'evening do' than interview fodder....
Sooo I think I might need to get an interview dress.... If I don't get this job I'll be looking for other similar things....
I'm thinking navy blue or dark grey.... and something that I'm not going to shiver in.... I really really don't want to spend more than £50.... I'm hoping someone might have spotted something in the sales.... I'm a size 8, about 5 ft 4" and have small boobs/waist...If anyone has spotted anything in the sales I'd be really grateful if you could point me in the right direction....

I love my dress and am tempted to buy another one but have too many dresses.

right.... I like the two ruched jersey options. Obviously the house of fraser one is within budget and the phase eight one not.... But the V on the house of fraser one here might be tricky.... V's and my small boobs sometimes don't work... (ponders... maybe I need a chunky necklace)...I like the red asos pencil dress.... but wonder if I quite have the nerve for it.... mmme
Oh ... and I bloody love mumsnet... you lot are wonderful Smile

HalleLouja Thankyou for the ocado code for Me & Em . I've just ordered two tulip dresses to go with my two martini ones that the old W&A thread lead me to.
