Help... A Nursing Dress for a wedding

(17 Posts)

I have a wedding to go to on the 22nd and still no luck in finding a non-frumpy, suitable-for-a-21-year-dress. I've looked all over the Internet and found nothing sad

Any suggestions for shops (preferably in Leeds) or websites?

Don't worry, we'll find you one!

How often is DC feeding? What sort of budget? How tall / what size are you? Best bits? What colours do you like?

Ooh am up for it, but please answer above questions wink

Sometimes 2 hrly, sometimes 3 or 4 lol depends what mood she's in! I'm about a 12, but definitely getting my hands on some magic pants so tight over the tummy will be ok! My best bits are prob my oversized boobs haha. I'd like something either short sleeve, no sleeve or 3/4 sleeve, not bothered on colour...

Just something classy, simple and understated. Not too bold as it's DH's side and I tend to get v shy in front of strangers which there will be plenty!

Thanks smile

Oh and I'm not bothered too much about budget, not overly expensive like £100 but anything under, I'll try leaving the tags in anyway so I can send it back (haha)

Anything here?

HumptyDumpty1 Thu 30-Jun-11 22:51:00

The bellamamma one is the one I've already ordered and having to send back sad

The peaks of London ones are nice, DH just told me they look like dressing gowns..always the helpful type!!

Hmmm. Has DH been able to nourish an infant from his chest?

No?

Then he doesn't get an opinion grin

Haha very true. I shall inform him of this when he next decides to make a clever comment! He doesn't understand how inconvenient it is, especially when DD won't take a bottle the monkey!

I've worn this one to 2 weddings this summer. It's a fantastic shape and has genius access points.

Oo they're lovely smile thank you! I'll get on ordering both and see which looks best haha

Oh that milkbug dress is fab! What a find.

Did you say you were large of breast? The high neck may well magnify them beyond belief. Mind you, high necks do sometimes work.

Yes the boobs are pretty big! I've ordered a few and taking a trip to the Trafford centre next week so something should look nice!

Thanks for everyones help smile my mum friends all bottle feed so they don't have this problem so was great for the advice!
