I used to be indecisive but now I'm not so sure - should I keep my LK Bennett shoes?

They're nude wedges - you will get loads of wear out of them, I would definitely keep them!

Wedges are a no-brainer. Elegance, height, comfort and stability in one. Keep.

They are lovely and you will get years of wear out of them. A def keeper. I hate being poor and not being able to afford nice shoesSad

Definitely keep, as long as you're 100% sure they fit and are comfortable (this is where my wobbles normally originate). They're a classic you'll still be wearing in years to come.

If comfortable, yes, keep.

Are you sure they look as nice as you think.
They look quite cheap looking for the price.

THey have a primark look about them.

I think tye would be better in matt leather rather than patent, but I still like them.

I like them very much but I don't think I would wear them. Don't have too many photocalls with my husband the prince Grin
I have that colour patent shoe but in a normal court for work, which I love, but there feels like a bit of a clash between the raffia wedge and the top of the shoe which would make me struggle to identify the right occasion for them. But if you can do that, they are lovely.

BTW I've seen them and they are nothing like primark!

I have just taken delivery of the taupe and am awaiting the black. I think it is a very versatile shoe. Have tried with jeans, skirts and dresses.

Sorry, I think they are awful! I've seen them in the shop and imo that colour in patent just looks cheap - are you sure they'll still give you a thrill when you've actually worn them once or twice?

Report
glassescase · 26/06/2011 22:16

Don't like, but if you do and they are comfortable then go for it.

I agree, I just don't get raffia with the patent leather combo - looks a bit strange to me as though the patent leather is formal for work and the raffia too casual. For that amount I think there is better out there.

I normally like LK Bennett shoes (and dressess) but I stand by my first thought. They don't look like a classy pair of shoes and you can get nicer looking casual shoe for your money than them.

Nude patent very rarely (IMO ) looks any thing other than cheap and nasty.

BTW what/ who is KM Kate Middleton I presume?

I'm not feeling the raffia/patent nude combo. It should either be a nude patent wedge or a raffia wedge. Not both. It's overly fussy and has missed the mark so to speak.

Well now, I worship at the altar of LK Bennett (shoes and bags, I love thee equally)...and the style I love...but not the patent. Too shiny. In a matt nude leather - heaven.
