oh wow it was gross I have got bacterial tonsilitis and havent been able to breath through my nose and felt something at the back of my nose/throat that I couldn't get it up. Well I just sniffed coughed and almost choked on it Its like phlegm but all almost looks tissue like ....but yay I can breath again.
Is tissue/phlegm too far for sporner corner?

Oooooh
I did similar once...coughed and hacked up a scab/lump the size of a 10p price.
Sigh.
I still look back on that day fondly 😁

That looks like it has some tissue in it - maybe a polyp?

Tonsil stones are a funny shape, like little white red blood cells ( or mine was). That's an actual alien right there 😁

I always cough these up when I have tonsilitis. When I've coughed it up I feel a million times better!!!

I call it my brain to my husband and insist on keeping it a tissue to show him much to his disgust 😃

DH once coughed up a scab the size of a 20p. He was so proud he took a scale photo Grin

Happened to me a fair few times too! It's often just mucus but mucus like this has actual cells in it and can look like tissue? Or something like that, I'm no scientist but that's what Google told me when I looked it up!

sorry he has just reminded me it was a bit of cartilage after a nose operation!

Size of a £2 coin!!!! We need something in the picture for scale.

Is it breathing or moving? Maybe you should keep it in a jar so it can't scuttle off.

Ever watched Alien OP?

Ooh that's pretty impressive.
I watched quite a bit of ear syringing today (placement in GP practice) and I just love it when loads of gunk comes out. My mentor doesn't see why I get so excited...
