It's a GIRL!! Another one!! My third DD! I/we are over the moon, I could never ever imagine myself with a boy, I am such a girly girl and although I would have loved a little boy, a sister will be fantastic for my youngest DD especially. My poor DH is going to be fraught with all the hormones and weddings etc.

Also makes life a whole load easier, won't even have to do a nursery, new baby can just move straight into DD's nursery and she can go into a brand new room.

Can't wait! Just need to find a name now...

Congratulations - I have three girls and it is great! Just be prepared for the people who will say 'oh are you disappointed' - as if the only reason for a third is to get a boy. I advise punching them tbh

Hehe, no DH won't have it! There are two Louise's in the family and he said it will be confusing...

i like Francesca Esme at this precise moment, tomorrow it may change!

Definitely try and come Thursday or Friday, hope Lulu is feeling better.

I had a scare the other day, ended up in an ambulance to A&E. The Dr was concerned I had a clot on my lung - very dramatic, just a virus but they kept me in overnight and do a load of tests. Felt like a fraud when they realised it wasn't. Was looking forward to a few days in hospital for a nice break!

Congratulations! I have two girls and I'm expecting baby no.3 in 3 weeks time, and everyone assumes that we are desperate for a boy - but of course that's not true! I would adore a third girl, we'll adore whatever we get given.

I know Northern, I already have had the MIL sounding a bit disappointed. Tough titty, you get what you are given for a reason, that is my thoughts on it. I actually think poor DD2 would have been pushed out by a few people if it had have been a boy, what with the novelty of it being a different sex. (not by us obviously, she is my angel).

dizzy, I was trying to hunt you down the other day regarding double prams, I remembered you have the Easywalker - honestly, how are you finding it? I have sold my Bugaboo today on ebay so will start looking for the "perfect" double, it is my new mission in life.

Congrats belgo, I will keep my eye out to see what you have!

Lulu, I do love it as well, I think it may be the one as it seems to feel "right".

Hehe, didn't see that bit about my obs! I have no idea, can't remember his name! Will have a look on my notes but the midwife thinks I should just have midwife led care. What do you think? She seemed fine with home-birth but DH is still very against it.

Ahh dizzy I was hoping you would say you used in in the car all the time, that is what I will be having to do with the school run etc. Do you think it is practical for that? You can use the Maxi Cosi on it can't you?

Lulu, I doubt he will change his mind. We can try though!

Thanks Lacksy, how you getting on? I have gone right off the P&T, don't know why. Every time I see a LO sitting in that bottom seat, they look forlorn!

yes, it takes the maxi cosy but at the moment mine is just set up with the carrycot and a seat - first outing with rain cover on today lol

we have a C max at the moment and it wouldn't fit in the boot - well it would at a squeeze but nothing much else - do you have a big enough car - its by no means small

although is a DREAM to push

We have a Scenic atm but will probably end up with a bus Ford Galaxy or similar. I had a look at their website the other day and watched the mad video they have with it being used, I nearly ordered one there and then! I worked out with the pushchair (wouldn't bother with carrycot), footmuffs and car seat adaptors it would cost around £580 from that place you got yours. Just sold my Bugaboo for £350 so would only cost me £230. I am sick to death of browsing the internet looking at double prams.

How old are your three girls?

Just looked at your profile, your girls are so beautiful! Lucky you! That white snowsuit is from Mamas & Papas isn't it, I had it for DD1, gave it away and then bought a similar one for DD2 from M&P, gave that away (see a theme here?) and will bloody need another one for my February girlie!

dizzydixies · 15/09/2008 21:09

we're getting a galaxy and it fits fine in it

if dh is serious about not letting me have 4 I could probably sell you the carry cot & adaptors for feb lol

the suit IS from Mama & papas 5yrs ago for dd1 and all my girls have been born in the summer!!! dd1 was hottest July I can remember, dd2 was a May baby and dd3 was 31st July this year!!!

and yes, they are beautiful, I have to take all the credit

You cannot seriously want another one!? You have probably not even had a proper period yet!

What colour did you get? In fact, flog me the whole pram for half price, you will be fed up with it come Feb!

So your DD1 is in Year 1 like mine, my DD1 is 6 in October, she is a feisty young lady. DD2 was 1 on Saturday, she is an absolute dream. If I have another easy one like her, I will be a content mother. However, if I have another DD1!

I seem to only breed winter babes. I am glad this time that the heaviest time in my pregnancy will be cold, the other two I was heavily pregnant in the summer, not fun whatsoever.

I'm doing OK PGNo3.....baaaad SPD , but am gritting my teeth and getting through it. We are definately going for the P&T sport. It will really only be used as a double for the school run and the odd shopping trip. At weekends when out and about DH and I plan to have a buggy each (we already have a McLaren Techno XLR, or DD in the baby rucsac/baby in pram, or baby in sling/DD in buggy. I like the fact that it will be reconvertible to a single at a later date....with a feck off luggage rack.

Gah, we have just bought a Scenic....I'm not sure it's going to be big enough!

Take Care xx

lol - I've always wanted 4 kids, 4 girls to be precise - I figure am 3/4 of way there!!!

might just do that its red, bright red, I do love red prams and red shoes lol

dd1 was 5 at beginning of july and is a dream, its dd2 who is wild she was 2 in May and has been a challange since I fell pregnant with her but I cannot help but adore her devious ways (behind telling her off of course) as somewhere deep down am trying to convince myself its a sign of genius!

if dd3 is somewhere inbetween I'll be delighted

summer babies are great, summer heavy pregnancy is not so much

Oh yes, it is a sign of genius

I love the red one and red is definitely a favourite colour of mine but somehow, I always buy boringly dull coloured prams, can never understand why. I may have a moment of madness and buy the Pink

Lulu, piss off, your gorgeous yer self, I have already had a nose at your profile. Anyway the real life me is a HUGE disappointment.

just looked at your blonde bombshell profile too - you need one of these prams for the school run so ALL the other mummies will all hate you lol

loving dd2 in her pink fluffy thing too!

I really wanted the turquoise one, I love all things blue - I even got married in an ice blue dress, but our maxi cosey was red so stuck with it

it IS lovely and everyone oohs and aahs over it - one of the childminders at the school obv went and looked it up as came back the next day going on about the price of it, which I thought was a tad rude, but she didn't need to know my dad insisted on paying for it - cheeky mare

I am feeling very embarrassed now Anyway Lulumama is coming to ours for a cuppa, she can let you know that in real life I am far more haggard.

That pink fluffy think is DD1's bean bag! It was great for throwing DD2 on when she couldn't move. Now she throws herself on it.

I sold my Maxi Cosi and everything else baby orientated and pink when I had finished with them after having DD2, never in a million years did I expect we would have a third and I was devastated when we found out, DD2 was only 7 months old. I couldn't be more happier now! My 3 girls, I can't wait to say that, I will be so proud of being a Mum or 3 gorgeous girls! There is a good deal on Kiddicare for this Maxi Cosi but it is not me at all, I like plain car seats but it is such a good deal that I think I may have to turn a bit more Jordan.
