@SavanahXx, aw, congrats! This is my second pregnancy, as I've also had a missed miscarriage (back in April). I was supposed to be 12 weeks but a scan revealed an empty sac Sad

I'm ten weeks now and still super anxious, even though I had a scan at 8+4 which showed a healthy baby kicking away ❤ I'm worrying even more now because my sickness/nausea (which was really bad in the beginning) has improved a lot over the past few days. I've heard this is normal but it's still a worry!

I've got another scan tomorrow though and can't wait Grin

I've got a scan next week as I had a miscarriage in may, I had the implant but for some reason it failed 8 months before it needed taken out....this time I'm hoping we make it full term! I've had sore boobs and nausea, but on the whole I've been feeling better than I did when I was pregnant with my DS.

Congratulations though girls, hope this is all straight forward for yous ❤️

I'm so sorry to hear about that @CobalRose both my experiences where very similar, first one I went to my 12 week scan and had a highly unsympathetic sonographer say "there's no heartbeat but don't worry your young you can try again" was very heart-breaking, I had a D+C then 5 month later I got a positive again, then started spotting at 10 weeks, when I went to EPU I had a scan and there was a sac and a little yolk so they said that I was only 4 weeks, which I knew no way possible, but later found out my placenta and sac was 10 weeks Confused I ended up miscarrying naturally a week later, hadn't fully miscarried and ended up back at the hospital twice, once to take tablets to pass the rest, which the hospital assured me would happen within 24 hours, then again a week after that because I still hadn't fully miscarried, wasn't aware and ended up having sepsis! was very scary, so I feel very blessed to have a healthy baby girl Smile

I really hope your scan goes so well tomorrow, its amazing watching them wriggle around isn't it? Grin don't worry about symptoms getting better, mine did for a while, but have come back with a vengeance haha! enjoy the no nausea while you can Wink I understand your worry though and here if you need a chat Smile x

Sad to read that many of us have suffered losses too, but it's wonderful to read that our current pregnancies appear to be going well! I fell pregnant on the implant as well, but that was the pregnancy I lost Sad This bean was planned Grin

sounds like the implant isn't a very good contraceptive Confused and I know!! Sad I guess years ago I wasn't very 'aware' of problems in pregnancy, and I suppose I never knew the reality until I was hit in the face with it Sad fingers crossed that these pregnancies go smoothly with no problems Smile and aww! @CobaltRose you and OH must be so happy, I'm happy for you!!! We are ❤ Can't wait until the judgement starts... I'm 22 but look WAY younger (I'm often mistaken for a 15/16 year old) so I'll probably get a few stares and tuts when I start sporting a bump.

Report
SavanahXx · 13/08/2018 17:38

aww I'm so glad!! &think mine may have already starter haha, I look bout 15 too, and because I'm normally size 6, my bump right now is extremely noticeable, look about 6/7 months!! but OH tells me to be proud and ignore anything if anyone pulls a face or says anything, as long as we're happy, and bump is highly loved, then it has nothing to do with anyone else, and their opinions don't mean shit Smile Grin

@colbaltrose I miscarried on the implant, I still think getting it removed had something to do with my loss.....fingers cross for lovely long pregnancies for us all!!

@caitlinn so sorry that you miscarried while on the implant, think gps should warn people about the implant before they have it!! didn't even know you could get pregnant on the implant Confused ive herd about the pill possibly affecting fertility and stuff but not about the implant [shocked] guess these contraception's are more harm than good Sad got my fingers crossed for you Flowers I so so wish you the best and hope everything works out brilliantly! Smile x

@caitlinn, my doctor said it didn't necessarily cause my miscarriage, but the implant DOES thin the uterine lining which can lead to miscarriage. Ultimately I don't know what caused my miscarriage but I'm hoping it was simply a one off. Everything looks good with this little bean so far Smile I hope we all have happy, boring, stress free pregnancies!

@CobaltRose I'm so glad everything is all good so far, and fingers crossed it stays that way, is your scan in the morning? bet you're so excited! hope all is good Flowers

hello @SendYouUpInFlames course you can join!! I hated not having no one round my age to talk too, the thread I'm on for December due dates makes me feel like I'm imposing, because I'm the youngest, by quite a few years as well, so I find it hard when it comes to strike a conversation with any of them Sad I'm having a little girl!! was going to keep it a surprise but the temptation was just too much!! and aw, bet its the best feeling when they have a birthday and things, how's life being a mummy? ooo I'm all excited to meet my little one GrinSmile

@SavanahXx, scan is at 12:10! Cannot wait! Grin

I know what you mean about feeling excluded due to age. Thankfully my close family (parents and brother) have been wonderful but some extended family have been quite rude and judgemental. Telling me I'm throwing my life away having a baby 'so young', as if I'm 12 and not 22! Ugh.

@CobltRose awh! bet you are, you'll have to update me and let me know how everything goes Grin and I hear you!! I don't speak to my mum anymore, she was utterly vile when I had my first and second pregnancy, she caused me wayyyy to much stress, so ive just left her to do my own thing, and my dads a bit self absorbed with it all like trying to take control of the situation like me and my OH haven't a clue what we are doing, he keeps going out buying thing then being all like "well I have these, because you will need them you know, just letting you know" he's not taking the "please don't get anything, especially before I get anything, I want to safely make it past 24 weeks before I buy loads of things" my OH mum tho is amazing Smile she's come to scans with me and OH because we was really anxious that we would have bad news, but she's a diamond! and she doesn't smother, or try to take control Smile
I'm glad you've got such supportive people around you Smile and ignore the rude ones, they sound like a waste of time, you're old enough to make your own decisions, they should accept that and be happy for you!!

I'm glad there's other mums on here around my age who are either already mums or are pregnant, couldn't face having a mum friend from near where I live Blush I'm very polar opposite to everyone my age around here, they are all still stuck in the "I'm getting a babysitter every weekend and getting off my face, drinking and taking stuff stage" Shock and that is just definitely not me, so I don't really fit in with them haha Grin

@Savannah yes I felt the same as you when I fell pregnant with ds1. I was only 17, and found I was the youngest in most of my baby groups. Found it very difficult to engage with everyone as I felt they were all talking another language lol.

Mummy hood is great (so far!) My 1 year old has just started crawling, so he's happy he can chase his brother around! It really stressed him out not being able to move, but mentally wanting to.

I won't lie I'm absloutley exhausted 24.7. It dosent help I still breastfeed, co sleep my youngest. Although he can be a great sleeper, at the moment he's going through a spurt, So he's not really sleeping. Which is waking the 3yr old up. This morning it was a 5AM start after ds2 went to sleep at 1AM 🙄🙄 I am lucky to have DH, Although working night shifts, he helps as much as he can

But apart from that, It's great at the moment!!!

Oh bet you're well happy! Did you find out earlier what you were having? I can't resist myself lol.

its horrible @SendYouUpInFlames I never know what to say because I have no idea what they are talking about haha its hard work Smile
and your little ones sound just too cute Grin sound stupid but I cant wait for all these sleepless nights, think this little one is preparing me for a sleepless routine already, she doesn't really kick through the day a lot, saves it all till night time, she makes me feel like I'm going down a huge dip on a rollercoaster, so its hard to sleep at the minute, didn't sleep at all last night because she started at about 12, and still hasn't really stopped haha, love her for it though Grin
and aww! your little family unit just sounds the absolute cutest!!

and I found out at my 20 week scan, me and DP decided we would keep the gender a surprise, then the night before the scan I went "are you not even just a little bit curious as to whether the baby is a boy or a girl" and he was like "lets just find out" then when the sonographer asked if I wanted to know, I kept changing from yeah to no haha, I finally asked him if I could guess, and when he showed her from the bottom, he didn't say anything and I was like "aww shes a girl isn't she" and he smiled and he confirmed it, me and DP are still shopping neutral though, there would be nothing worse than the hospital accidentally getting the sex wrong Grin we've got a few girly things, but when we pick the pram up and moses basket and cot, think we aint getting pink things haha Smile
