Hi Ladies

As a busy working pregnant woman I am looking to get some inspiration from what you're all all eating throughout the day at work. I am trying to stay healthy but complete hunger often leads me astray into empty carbs. Also I find it hard to find interesting varied lunches so hoping to get some inspiration here. Today I have eaten

Breakfast - chocolate croissant
Mid morning - Pret fruit salad
Lunch - Eat Mozzarella and Tomato toastie, yoghurt, banana and grape nut pot

Breakfast - fat free fromage frais and blackberries
Snack - half a jam doughnut
Lunch - grilled salmon salad
Dinner tonight will be an omelette

I am trying to vaguely stick to my SW diet (although the half a doughnut is not sticking to it that well!)

I am STARVING all of the time and could eat a whole loaf of fresh bread and butter quite easily at this point.

I feel like I'm constantly eating. Today I've had:

Porridge with raspberries and a banana
Packet of French Fries
Cheese savoury sandwich and fruit pot.

This afternoon I'll have:

A Muller light yoghurt
Two oranges

And a Bounty in the car on the way home.

Then dinner (homemade burgers and sweet potato chips I think), some grapes for dessert, and two slices of toast with peanut butter and/or jam, or Nitella before bed.

Only 20 weeks. Hungry all the time.

Are you drinking enough? It's easy to mistake thirst for hunger.

I'm carrying with me fruit (apple, pear) and either oatcakes, cereal bars or snack-a-jacks. I'm also trying to space out what I'm eating, so if for lunch I used to have say pasta salad and fruit / yogurt, I'll eat the salad and space the rest out.
I'm 7.5 weeks and am more hungry than usual, but finding that eating little and often helps with nausea.

39+5w here today, and I have eaten:

2 x slices of Vogel toast with butter and raspberry jam
1x bowl of left over spag bol from last night (reheated!)
4 x choc digestives ...!
1x cereal bar and an apple

After months of not being able to eat much, I seem to have my appetite back this week. Apparently the baby drops so more room for stomach. I usually eat loads more fruit and veg, but the last 24 hours have been a carb/sugar fest. Eeeek!

9 weeks and eating EVERYTHING in sight. Regardless of fat content etc with my BMI being 14 I need to raise it ASAP

Thanks all - really interesting.

Do you think I should eat when I am hungry (even if it's all the time!) or try and hold out a bit? Just not sure what's the right thing to do

It depends if you might start feeling lightheaded? My consultant told me to just listen to my body.

How far along are you?

I have definite growth spurt days where I'm hungry an hour after a me, and other days where I eat much more normally.

Just remember what your body is doing. You're growing a human. You are making and pumping extra blood, never mind keeping it all at the right temperature. You probably aren't getting the quality sleep you're used to.

Give yourself a real and eat when you're hungry.

15 weeks along. You're right, today hasn't been a massively hungry day but yesterday I was starving non stop. In fact this afternoon I've been feeling really sick. Oh the joys....

39+2. Today I've had a small bowl of bran flakes and peanut butter on seeded toast for brekky. Lunch was Ham, cheese and salad sandwich and a kitkat. Also had an Alpen nut bar to snack on this afternoon. Tea, when I can be bothered to make it will be a minced lamb, mint and pea pie with a potato top and extra veg. Will have to have some supper otherwise I'll be awake in the night hungry. Am obsessed with food at the moment but that's because I am bored.

I have basically been living off toast, Haribo, weetabix and massive glasses of milk. I really hope my appetite improves soon but I just don't seem to want to eat anything else the last few days. I'm almost 11 weeks.

I normally eat pretty healthily so it's quite a change! Also quite worried about piling on the weight if I survive on sweets.

Oh god, I am like a human dustbin at the moment, but oddly enough don't really eat much beyond 5pm, same as my 'morning' sickness phase (currently 21+ 3)

9am - pret bacon and egg breakfast muffin
10am - pre packed fruit salad
2 choc digestives
1.30 - chicken & veg soup
2.30 - scone
Some more afternoon choco digestives

Dinner - probably cheese on toast or similar....

Today has been bad......

Breakfast - 2 pieces of wholemeal toast and cheese
Snacks - papaya, banana, 2 jacobs crackers and 2/3rds a banana
Lunch - some bloody lovely butternut squash and sage ravioli in cream, with obligatory small portion of salad. Trying to see if I can make the ravioli last til later in the afternoon for the point where I'm gnawing the table
Dinner - no idea, some odd concoction of old fridge leftovers probably as I haven't been organised at all about food shopping this week

Breakfast: coffee and muesli, both with semi-skimmed
Lunch: ham and cheese sandwich on seedy bread; crudites; apple
Dinner: leftover chicken pie (homemade); leftover mash; loads of peas
Snacks Blush: another apple, a couple of penguin bars, more than my fair share of the popcorn I bought to share with colleagues; a chocolate twist pastry thing and several chocs.
And I'll probably have a piece of cake in a bit.

I always have a big appetite but have been a complete glutton throughout pregnancy (27 weeks tomorrow). At least I'm not getting my usual wine calories...
