I'm a TTCer and wondering what the average stats are on MN. How old are you and how long/how many cycles did it take for your BFP?

I'm 30, TTC DC#2, cycle 6 and bloody impatient!

Ps.. The cycle that worked was the one where we ditched opks, I drank and partied far too much as had given up.. Hasn't even taken the folic acid that month. Also did everyday from day 11 not every other day as recommended. Hth

I'm 27, and fell pregnant on the ninth cycle the one where i resigned myself to it never happening, no OPKs just went with it and didn't worry. Hope it's not too much longer for you x

DC1, 1 cycle, age 31 (due in 4 weeks!)

Took us slightly by surprise. During that cycle, we DTD every other day and used Conceive Plus if I needed some help!

I had the norovirus at the beginning of the cycle so not sure if my compromised immune system helped?!

26, took 2.5 years and needed fertility treatment in the end even though there was nothing wrong. It's still early days though so have fingers crossed!

Pregnancy 1 - 1 cycle (loss) - 29
Pregnancy 2 - 3 cycles, although they were wonky from the loss - 29
Pregnancy 3 - 1 cycle (loss) - 31
Pregnancy 4 - 3 cycles, although again they were wonky from the loss -31
Pregnancy 5 - 1 cycle - 33
Pregnancy 6 - 2 cycles (loss) - 36
Pregnancy 7 - 13 cycles WTF - 37 - this pregnancy, now 11 weeks.

Never had an explanation as to why I could go from somebody who got pregnant pretty much straight off (holding onto them was another matter) and then suddenly not at all. Had loads of testing including lap/HSG which were all clear. For my BFP cycle I took loads of supplements which may have tipped the balance, and reduced DTD to only with positive OPK in case it was male factor. And had fresh pineapple core 2-6dpo. Everybody I know who tries pineapple core gets a BFP. Total coincidence, but perhaps the placebo effect..

Good luck!!

1st 2 cycles (loss) 28yrs
2nd 8 cycles= ds1 29yrs was starting to get stressed and had written off that month getting trashed at a friend's wedding.
3rd 1 cycle = 27 weeks 32 yrs

I know it's impossible to do once you start to stress but from all anecdotal evidence it happens when you are most relaxed/not thinking about it too much : easier d said than done!

27 years old, dc1 and first cycle. Not quite sure how we were so lucky. Currently 22 weeks.
Had prepared myself (and hubby) for a long try as hoped it would help me to be realistic and not disappointed when it didnt happen straight away.
2 weeks later.....
