What do you drink when you are pregnant?

We are TTC number 2.

I am finding the notion of abandoning my nightly glass of red quite depressing. What do you substitute wine with?

Last time round I only wanted to drink water and milk, but it would be nice to have a nice evening drink to look forward to!

Usually soda and blackcurrent, which is a nice change from just diluting juice.
But, I have recently discovered - thanks to my Best friend - Innocent apple juice (the cloudy stuff) and tonic. It tastes like it has gin in it! Amazing!

Currently pg with DC2 I have been having soda with orange (either fresh or high juice) and plenty of ice or lime, soda and plenty of ice - had to mostly give them up for the moment due to heartburn though.

I treated myself to the odd glass of wine and also drank Becks Blue (no alcohol), got me through the summertime need for a shandy!

I would get some nice juice (found beside the nice ham Wink) Strawberry and Kiwi was my fav. I would some times mix it with soda water if i felt extravagant. Or a starwberry milkshake!

At the moment lime cordial and lemonade. But I go totally off wine when pregnant.

I find the caffeine harder.

Oh, and also recently discovered Kopparberg Pear cider, alcohol free. Tastes just like the real thing (if you like cider)

Ooh, some great ideas! Thanks.

I love tonic water with ice and a slice! It tastes almost exactly the same as gin and tonic, and I've been recommended it to get rid of my horrible leg cramps!

The ice and a slice makes it feel like a 'proper' drink too.

Elderflower & fizzy water, refreshing and delicious or Bavaria 0% beer - tastes less chemically than cobra/becks alcohol free ones IMO or low alcohol cider

I had wine twice a week as even Nhs guidelines are ok with that. Did it at home mind you, to avoid the evil stares

Oh I fully intend to have the odd glass, especially after the first trimester!

Chocolate milk.

And I treat myself to one glass of wine a month. I've learned to make it last a very, very long time now. :)

Lemonade. Bottles and bottles of it. It was all I wanted. Full sugar too - couldn't stand the diet stuff.

The bottlegreen concentrated juices mixed with sparkling water are good - I found the ginger and lemongrass one made my morning sickness less unbearable.

I've tried Bavarian and Cobra non-alcoholic beer. Both are dreadful.

Diet coke caffeine free straight from the can, and strong tea.
I also have a glass or two of red wine on a saturday night.
