This will be the thread where all brooking babies learn to self settle and sleep through the night (the real version, not that 5hr at a time thing).

helloooooo!since there will b more new mummy btookers again soon I wondered if we could resurrect the thread.
not sure if anyone checks in here any more. where have all the brookers gone!
perhaps if I do a buffet that's usually popular with brookers.

No they were back just after 11. I was home about 12.30am. Wasn't asleep until nearly 1.30/2.

Of course Naomi slept from 6.45pm until 5.45am except for 20mins when I changed her for bed. So slept 11 hours. Unfortunately I couldn't make the most of it and she hasn't done it since.

We found a flask although it is huge but does the job at night.

argh sooo annoying! we use the perfect prep machine so none of that faff here. hope you get a new one soon.
N seems to been sleeping a bit lighter at the moment and is easily woken. he's nearly 21wks and still sleeps in our room in his Moses basket. I think really he has outgrown it but we don't feel ready to move him to his own room yet.
hope you weren't up too late waiting pen

We are good. Having a nice relaxing night in as Dp is away out with a friend. I am somehow doing taxi duty, want to go to bed as I'm knackered but have a wait about for them to come home. sad

Naomi is great, went through an unsettled period there but she seems to have come out of it at present. Hoping it stays away as it was quite difficult to do anything.

Someone broke my flask today which means I know have to boil kettle and faff about more in order to feed her. Such a pain in the ass

cartoontrickster Wed 19-Mar-14 05:50:58

must be smile . she's taking everything in all around her. how was last night?
we've had another good sleep, we all came up at around 8.30 changed and fed N we where all asleep by 10. N just woke up at 5.30, minutes after dh left for work. I think this will probably us up for the day now though which is slightly annoying.

keepitgoing Tue 18-Mar-14 17:31:05

sounds like he's going great. hope last night was a one off for you!

keepitgoing Tue 18-Mar-14 17:30:12

still waking lots. last night 11 2.30 and 4.30. we used to get 5/6 hour stretch but no more. and she won't feed much in the day as top distractible. typical 4 months I understand. I'm telling myself it's cos she's so clever... wink

cartoontrickster Tue 18-Mar-14 15:32:51

argh I'm so tired he usually sleeps really well. but he woke up lots screaming only for a few mins though and was easily resettled just by me putting my hand on his chest and rocking his Moses basket. he also wasnt having all his bottle so needed an extra feed to what he normally has. the previous night he went 8.5hrs between feeds and usually does 5/6 hrs so last night was a shock to my system.
how has s been?
where is everyone else, I hope theyre all ok.

keepitgoing Tue 18-Mar-14 13:02:32

keepitgoing Thu 13-Mar-14 10:27:32

hi everyone this fell off my threads. am knackered as kip wouldn't settle after her night feed, normally goes back down no prob. really hoping this was a one off and not the dreaded 4 month sleep regression... she's been developing crazy fast the last couple of weeks with rolling grabbing and spinning.

how are you doing trix?

cartoontrickster Wed 12-Mar-14 13:47:12
