Last night Marslady and I were having a genteel chat, about kittens and needlepoint probably, when hub steamed in and started waving a cucumber around. What followed next was quite disgraceful and I wish to disassociate myself from the orgy which ensued.

Bubble, you were just as bad as the rest of us ... you're just miffed that you watched Eurovision and missed the really exciting bits

You're needed on Lav's thread to say OI, LEAVE IT! Or words to that effect

Have you ever met Lavenderrrrrrrrrrr before, Bubble? She's an interesting character. I used to think that people were really mean to her, but then you read her threads and can see why.

Report
bubble99 · 22/05/2005 20:42

No. I got my head chewed by alwayssaythanku and since then have tended to stay away from the rowdy threads. Will definately throw a few innapropriate- LEAVE IT IT'S NOT WORTH IT'S- around now for good measure though.

sorry to interupt but is lavs thread normal for mn

Report
WigWamBam · 22/05/2005 21:00

Lav's thread is normal for Lav, I'm afraid. She has told some of the most appalling stories then backtracked, she has frustrated most of MN with her tales of her drunken, abusive dh, then once everyone has bared their souls and tried to help, she goes on about what a fantastic sex life they have, sometimes her dh posts instead of her and causes hassle - this isn't normal for Mumsnet, just normal for Lav.

thanks wwb
just thought it was a bit sad wanting to teach ya kids how to shoot but enjoyed the thread it was quite funny in places and maybe someone should give some productive advise like some local AA meetings for her dh

We have, been it, seen it, done it, even got the t-shirt..............

Marmar, she has been given advice hand over fist, then comes back and says that everything's hunky dory. Hence the reason that so many people are frustrated with her. Have a look at some of the old threads by Lavender, Lavenderr, Lavenderrr, Lavender1 and Lavender2, you'll soon get the picture.

Still here LGJ. The Fooltle is in a cot tonight for the first time and was not impressed. Yowling galore and he's now passed out on our bed. I'll try the cot again tomorrow night. Probably not the best course of action but he yowled for ages.
