Hi Girls, just thought I'd start another day meetup thread for May. Not sure when half term is though, see if we can squeeze one in before then?

Will have to look for another outdoorsy type place incase the weather is nice, with the Watford Playdome (or whatever it's now called) as our rainy day plan.

What do you think?

Did you like the sound of the place I told you about? It's in Bricket Wood, very close to jcts 21A on M25 and 6 on M1. It's an old working watermill on the River Ver which has been converted into a bar restaurant. Children are welcome. There is a huge field outside where kids run around or kick balls about, the river runs around it and there are lots of wild fowl and fish to feed. There are over 100 tables to sit at and eat and a full fenced playground. Adjoining fields have donkeys and horses in them. The food is lovely and they don't mind if you order just a bowl of chips or a full meal.

Hi Janstar, yes that place sounds great! I can't do Wed or Fri's now so Monday would best suit us (to go along with Kayleigh). Can you post a streetmap location?

meandthomas my ds is only 10mo and there is usually a baby area at these playdome places (been to the Liconsfield centre in Bushey with the other MNetters and Fantasy Island nr Wembley with some friends -both had an area for babes). But anyway, that's plan b. Plan a is much much better. Lets hope the weather is nice!

I can only do Friday afternoons or weekends, unless we meet after 3pm Oh dear, I don't think there is a day we can all do.

Unless we do it on a weekend and open it to husbands and other kids. Husbands like it there, there is a bar

The place is called Moor Mill and it's in Smug Oak Lane, Bricket Wood. It's actually the main road between Radlett and Bricket Wood. I don't know how to do links (granny) so could one of you young people who understand technology post a map please .

Will we be meeting at Kidsports if it's raining?
