Many apologies for the late start of this thread - early start for work + horrendous traffic problems on my way to this location meant I didn't have time!

Anyway Here's the spreadsheet

I'll go and catch up with the other thread now!

Good luck for this week Flowers

Low carb snack discovery of the week is...
SALT AND VINEGAR PORK SCRATCHINGS
from the Snaffling Pig company. OMG they're amazing.

Hey, after my gain this week I'm going back on strict BC for the next week to see if I can recover the situation.

I've still lost exactly a stone since the start of BC, so I'm holding on to that :)

StuntNun · 13/03/2017 14:28

Hesdead the 'gain' you saw during the week was likely just normal fluctuation in your weight. The nuts and syrup will have temporarily refilled your glycogen stores and increased water retention. If you get straight back on track then your weight will come down again. KOKO.

It's only week 2 for me on BC but have lost another 2.4lbs. That's over half a stone. Very pleased. More importantly, I have lost 3 inches off my tummy. It's where I store all my fat. I did SW for 18 months and lost 2 and a half stone but not one single inch from my waist measurement which was horrid. So I have lost more on BC in 2 weeks then I ever did on SW!

I wish I wasn't so bloody hungry all the time though.

Down 1.2lbs this week, was more prior to the weekend but I fell head first into a packet of dark lindor. I can't trust myself to eat dark choc even in moderation Sad I just need to keep reminding myself of all the reasons I want to lose weight (self-esteem, bridesmaid, holiday and eventually TTC)
Need to do a food shop so meals today have been a compilation of leftovers and fridge stragglers.

L: bacon wrapped chicken breast and cheese with courgetti.
D: cauliflower cheese and spinach/ricotta stuffed chicken.

Got myself a new water bottle so it's a bit easier to get all my water now.

Well, I was 2.2lb heavier this morning than yesterday so I'm not updating today! Will try again tomorrow...
I blame the huge roast dinner. (Not the wine I had on Saturday)
Today was lunch - chicken bites with soured cream dip (M&S) and dinner will be bolognese sauce, kale and cheese. Lots of cheese.

-2 this week. Was more on Friday but had to do lots of driving at the weekend so less active and some wine was taken.
-9 for boot camp, a stone off in total since 2nd week of Jan Smile. Going for a run tonight and will shred tomorrow morning.

Well done losers and KOKO everyone else Grin

I forgot to add I still have AF. Beginning to think maybe I ought to speak to the GP about this, it's been a whole month!

Ouch Pata - are you maybe having mine too? Shock

I'm disheartened about lack of progress, but might as well KOKO.

Foods today:
B: Greek yoghurt and two strawberries
L: an avocado, a tomato, slices of cheese, glass of almond milk
D: courgetti, salmon and a creamy sauce

I'm actually still feeling pretty hungry even after the dinner. Might have to raid the fridge for a bit more yoghurt, even though I think having less dairy would probably be a good idea. Maybe I'll just boil some eggs, instead...

Evening. Just a quick update as I'm still at work. 1.6lbs off this week, so now just over a stone and a half since beginning of January. Very pleased.
Well done on those who have lost and KOKO to those that haven't. Flowers

@TodaysFishIsTroutALaCreme Glad to hear it's going so well for you!

However, if you're hungry, then you need to eat! This isn't a WOE that's about deprivation.

Once you're properly fat-adapted, which you should be very soon, you'll find that your appetite is suppressed, and that you won't find that you want to eat between meals.

However, make sure you're eating enough, and also that you're eating plenty of fat and drinking all your water.

(And hunger can also be a signal of thirst rather than real hunger!)

1lb up for me this week, though during the week I was 2lbs down.
I think I need to try and fit in some regular exercise, as in more than just once a week and see if that kick starts the loss again.
Cut out the wine as well as that's not helping even though it's only a couple of nights a week now.

Hello everyone.
Some great losses. Well done to all.
I am not even going to mention my weigh in. Least said, soonest mended and all that!

Thanks BIWI am quite happy so far.

I am not deliberately depriving myself. I just struggle for snacks as a top up before meals. I did have 40g of Brazil nuts earlier. Am not sure if I am allowed these yet. I have only just realised that sugar snap peas are not on the allowed list and I have them most days. Will swap to mange tout.

I am definitely having my allocation of water plus each day.

I think I may not be getting enough fat in. Will try harder Grin

Evening all. Just sat down after a knackering day chasing after the three boys. Does that count as exercise?! I'm happy because I'm 2lb down to 10.10.2 this morning, after weeks and weeks of STS. Whether it's just a whoosh, or because I've followed the advice of the wise and good up thread who knows. But i have done what was suggested, added high fat snacks and tried to eat more... Going to bed every night feeling so guilty and that I've undone my good work, only to see consistent losses finally each morning. It's counterintuitive for sure. Thank you to those who gave me some suggestions... Let's hope it keeps going. KOKO everyone, well done to the losses, and chin up to this who were disappointed.

What?! Why are you looking for a top up before meals? That just doesn't make sense.

Lol, you are right. Of course it doesn't.

I mean when I get hungry after beakfast and before lunch for example. I don't really know what to have to stave off the hunger pangs before my next meal.

STS here. I can't stop eating. Too much damn protein.

B: 2 boiled egg in French mayo with Bistro salad
L: cauli rice, bacon lardons, courgette, kale, olives in butter
D: cottage pie with celery, onion, carrot in, swede mash
S: chicken wing, 2 boiled eggs, slice of ham
3 creamy coffees. 6 glasses water.

Checking in!
Haven't manage to weigh so will do tomorrow morning. I had a delicious fish pie tonight made with leeks, shallots, ff cream cheese and cream, fish, prawns, hb eggs, spinach. I meant to top with swede mash but hadn't cooked it in time so sliced some courgette on a mandolin and used that to cover my half, worked really well.

I allowed myself a few extra carbs yesterday as it was my birthday, but straight back on it today.
