they want peopel not just to be silent as a mark of respect but to do it publicly as an act of defiance (towards people who want to use terror to promote their cause)

I think most people will think of everyone caught up in terror and war all over the world as well as thinking of those in London.

exactly beety. They don't know/understand why they have to be quiet and tbh i don't expect them do.

I've got 2 young lads in the front room servicing trhe boiler and making noise so if they aren't out in 3 minutes i'm just going to go stand in the garden
