here She's no longer allowed to take her own son to his classroom. How are you supposed to deal with bullies and parent bullies then? I hate confrontation but I think the schools response is awful, I hope she challenges this and wins.

I never belive these stories to give both sides tbh

SetSquare Tue 21-Jul-09 18:51:50

and why is she in her nightie?

allaboutme Tue 21-Jul-09 18:52:57

theres got to be more to it, she cant just ahve said 'please stop hitting him' or they wouldnt have come down so hard on her surely

also, WHY is she showing half her bra in that photo?

paisleyleaf Tue 21-Jul-09 18:54:31

"and why is she in her nightie?"
....only just

SetSquare Tue 21-Jul-09 18:54:48

SetSquare Tue 21-Jul-09 18:55:04

Snort at pl

TheCrackFox Tue 21-Jul-09 18:55:16

I would like to hear the other side of the story too.

The children involved were 5 years old. Whilst they are capable of being deeply unpleasant at times they have little concept of what bullying actually is. I wouldn't be massively impressed if some bint in her nighty decided to give my child a ticking off.

How did I know it would be the Daily Hate?

SetSquare Tue 21-Jul-09 18:56:14

and how teh hell does she know anything abotu the other kid and his famliy situation...maybe he hada mad mother in a nightie who kept whacking him at home and when her saw HER?

therapy for years...

allaboutme Tue 21-Jul-09 18:56:57

she probably flashed her boob at the bully in said nightie, hence the ban from school

SetSquare Tue 21-Jul-09 18:57:48

god imagine if she was bending down to a teeny tiny desk

that was it = she was charged with exposure

edam Tue 21-Jul-09 18:59:54

Maybe the bullies were chanting: 'Your Mummy wears a nightie! We can see her boobies!'

edam Tue 21-Jul-09 19:01:15

DM supposedly goes for pix of middle class people looking respectable - apparently women have to be in skirts, men in suits with ties, no visible tatoos or piercings.

So how did bra shot get in? Filthy minded picture editor?

SetSquare Tue 21-Jul-09 19:02:29

nad its freezing atm

kylesmybaby Tue 21-Jul-09 19:05:01

i think it might be that she had gone into the class and confronted him in front of everyone. dont think she was a calm as she is making out though

Frasersmum123 Tue 21-Jul-09 19:05:09

There must have been more to it than that.

I wonder if the Daily Mail would care if the school wasnt in a well-to-do catchment area in Twickenham?

She should have really thought the picture through - the angst-ridden face just looks mardy!

FranSanDisco Tue 21-Jul-09 19:05:34

I can't take her seriously sitting there like a concerned hooker with her baps out. I had a father stop my then 5 yo asking why he had hit his dd when in fact ds had been pushed and fell into her hmm. A fact confirmed by teacher. Another mother at ds's class threatened the mother of a boy who was "bullying" her dd and was told she would be banned next time by the Deputy Head. She did however admit to telling the mother next time her f*ing son touched her dd she would put a chair over her head and his blush.

janeite Tue 21-Jul-09 19:05:47

Looks like she's wanting a Page 3 opportunity and thought this would be her way in. Do they still have P3 in the tabloids?

Ridiculous 'story - and ridiculous paper for giving it space - no credibility for so many reasons methinks.

Lol at Edam.

You meanies - it's not a bra, it's a sort of lace-effect trimming - as well you know!

Think the look is all wrong; she should have gone for head-to-toe Boden to offset the whole "banned from school" miasma. It's kind of like an ASBO, isn't it? I know LiLo pulled off the ankle-tag but she was very young and glamorous and ... risky ... at that point.

[Cherryblossoms idly wonders whether she could carry off a "banned from school" reputation/look.]

Frasersmum123 Tue 21-Jul-09 19:16:45

Its a bra- you can see the straps!

cherryblossoms Tue 21-Jul-09 19:18:43

I take it back! It is a bra!

Do you think the picture editor is the dad/mum of one of the miscreant (alleged) bullies?

TheNonIronicCathKidstonGoat Tue 21-Jul-09 19:19:31

snort @ charged with exposure.

edam Tue 21-Jul-09 19:21:23

definitely a bra, you can see the tiny bow in the middle where the underwires meet. I have one very similar stuffed in the back of my underwear drawer!

Frasersmum123 Tue 21-Jul-09 19:21:41

My favourite thing about the picture is the dustpan in the background!
