So tragic. I've not been able to get it out of mind. Those beautiful children with all that future ahead of them and that poor mum who probably as of yet has no idea that her world has been completely destroyed, and of course let's not forget about her other 2 children.
The mum (Michelle) lost her partner to cancer a few years back.
They've charged a 23 year old and 20 year women. Only life and I mean life until the day they die not this 15 years nonsense will be sufficient enough justice
RIP little AngelsFlowers

The thing that really sent a shiver down my spine was when it said on the news that she was in a serious condition hospital and didn't yet know that 4 of her children had died. Just unimaginable.

How on earth did they get one down the chimney?

It's chillingly determined.

There was scaffolding up apparently.

The perpetrators have murdered 4 children, badly injured the mother so surely attempted murder plus the two boys that were slightly wounded, so attempted murder x 2 again. If found guilty of all of those surely they'd be in prison for a very very long time.

I just can't understand why someone would do this. What did they think would happen? What kind of vendetta did they have? I can't in a million years imagining doing this to someone.

Horrifying. Poor young children, the remaining siblings and mum seriously ill in hospital with the worst news awaiting her.

It makes you wonder who actually woke up and that and said ‘today’s the day . Let’s do this ‘

Do they have any feelings or remorse . What beef can you have with a person to do that ?

I feel for the one surviving teenage kid . What will his future be like now ?
As for the mother .... I think a coma is better than waking up given the horrific news and what being a burns victim entails Flowers

For anyone who doesn't know Salford, it has been strife torn for decades. In the 80's there were major issues with rival gang factions fighting drug and territory wars with other parts of the city. Protection racketeers used to go door to door in some areas offering ordinary families "insurance",which really ment if you didnt pay the premium your house would be threatened. There are very few pubs in Salford. They were all driven out of business by gangsters taking them over and taking profits or protection from them.

People lived in fear and still do. NO ONE Grasses as they call it. No one dare tell authorities or the police anything.

This is the kind of thing that happens in Salford

Its unfortunate that innocent people get caught up in such events.

Sometimes if you live by the sword, you die by the sword. Relatives and friends get caught in the crossfire.

That is so frightening. I cannot imagine living like that.

What are you implying about relatives of the victims TDH?

That’s horrible about violent crime in Salford.

I read the dad of some of the KIDS was in prison. Maybe they are innocent people caught up in the crossfire? I don't think there was anything unkind implied in that post.

Pringles that case is so sad too. How chilling that the perpetrator simply didn't care if the kids died or not.

Interview with the grandfather on the BBC was awful, the aunt sat with the youngest child until she died, it's completely destroyed their lives.

TDH .... did you mean to sound so callous? Those poor babies were perfectly law abiding. The truth will out ????? The truth is there are no possible circumstances in which a Mother deserves to have her children burned alive. This is victim blaming and in very poor taste.
