Good morning everyone
Tiger it looks like you were up at a ridiculous hour just like me! Thanks for the links .

I havent done much flying in the last few days as my mums been visiting although the house doesnt look too bad as she's been helping me.
DS has STILL got diarroheoa .He seems well, is eating and isnt vomiting but I wonder how long I should leave it before taking him to Drs? Unfortunately it costs 50 euro every time I take him, which is a lot if all the doctor will tell me is to give him plenty of fluids etc. I trained as a nurse ( have been on career break for 2 years) so i hope I would spot it if he really did need treatment. I still feel a bit crap that everything comes down to money in the end though .

Not sure what I'll be up to today?? Not much flying I wouldnt have thought!

done
W/m on
D/w loaded ( just waiting for breaky things)

Thats about it.

To Do
Get everyone dressed
DS breakfast
Sort out dry laundry
Look at babysteps again!
Mission
Home blessing
Feed chucks

Hope everyone has a lovely day

Happy Monday everyone, Lucysmam re: LO in big bed, mine is still stucj in cot mode, shouting me when she wakes up but I have no doubt she will soon figure out that she can now escape by herself!

Well, I had a stern word with myself yesterday and so its full steam ahead this week. (Diet, housework and exercize) So I got up extra early and all the housework is complete already. I'm dropping LO at playschool, leaving the car there and running the 2.5 miles to gym to do weights and back. (I used to do this a lot but have slipped back into driving there)

Then later, its 'desk day' and mission and baby steps. Oh and yesterday, I made a control journal! Ive also been looking at a good calender for next year, shame I cant get one for the rest of this year though has mine has tiny columns that you can only fit one thing in. Ah well! Onwards!

Have a wooooonderful day people.

good morning everyone

Shannar my weekend was great, just got 2 of them in the house again this week . . . so my house is no longer sparkling in the living area! Kept them out of the kitchen/bathroom so far & no way they're heading upstairs because it was lovely not having to fight toys out of the way to get into bed last night
cafebistro sorry your lo is no better, hope you don't end up having to trek to the dr! @50euros!!!!
minor enjoy the cot mode thing while it lasts, it's a PITA being got up at 6am by little people tickling toes, or maybe that's just my weird lo
Ruby I've not been privelaged enough to watch grown up tv this morning . . . Rory The Racing Car dvd is playing away for the third time. What news is disconcerting?
Mad is your burn any better?
Bianca sorry to hear your lo is still not well either & Bewilder! Everyone's ill lately . . . fingers crossed none of these bugs have got my lot yet

Well so far today:

up, beds made, washed, dressed, fed everyone but me (something wrong there I think since I fed everyone!) wm on, td on, bathroom s&s, kitchen s&s. Taking hoover upstairs later to tackle the HUGE cobweb thats hanging from the ceiling in my bedroom although not sure I can reach it! & other than that not sure what to do

Hope you all have a brill day, catch up later xx

Can I join in pls?
Constantly falling into the failed perfectionist trap and feeling like I can only FLY lady once the house has been totally cleaned. Stupid but there you are. Now two weeks into school and slowly the house is coming together. Not bothering with the zone missions just yet but am doing the daily routines and constant declutter to try and get on top of it all.

So far:
Kids in school on time, dressed fed and organised (YAY!)
Kitchen surfaces and sink - done
UNloaded and reloaded DW
WM on
Bathroom blitzed and new towels in
Downstairs floors all mopped/hoovered

Need to tidy bedrooms and hoover, take recycling to the tip and err loads of other stuff!

Lucysmam- yes cost of Dr is total rip off...we have JUST too much money to get it all free...you literally have to be on the breadline! People slag off the NHS ( i should know i worked for them once) but you dont realise how lucky you are to get 'free' healthcare.
Welcome Lemontart- Im a newbie too and am still on babysteps as I keep having to go back and repeat!

Well we're all fed and dressed. Washing out on the line. Washing machine on again. Just off to feed chucks.

I have a cold and don't feel great, but just wanted to pop in and say, doesn't the OM calendar start from Sep? So you could buy it and start using straight away. I think my old one did.

Don't like it myself, happy with cheap alternative

Just seen that Ruby has already said that...

I'm going to go and have a cup of tea and feel pathetic for a bit, then start moving dps tools into the newly waterproof shed...

Morning all.
Hope all the poorly ones are better soon. Keep them germs to yourselves won't you?

Welcome Lemontart.

I have started putting pics on photo bucket. Long job of labelling them all next. Then start listing on Ebay! Does anyone want a look before i start Ebaying them?

Have made choc chip cookies this morn too.

DD2 has to be at school for 1.30 so i don't have long to get much done.

Hello again!

Welcome Lemontart

I'm a bit stuck with something & am hoping someone with more than one dc will be able to help me . . . am I ok to leave two kids downstairs while I strip a bed or am I asking for trouble?

Can't believe everyone's been ill lately!

cafebistro too much money to have free health care? that's not fair surely

Ruby I didn't know banks could file for bankruptcy [surprise]

Am a bit stuck for something to do to be honest, toys everywhere down here & I daren't leave them downstairs alone to go and do anything upstairs

Hey you ladies, how easy is it to sell on eBay? I've got stuff to get shut of and I need some £

Report
tortoise · 15/09/2008 12:11

Lucysmam Depends on ages and how they behave lol! DD1 and DD2 i could happily leave in a room together when they were younger. With gate across kitchen. And it doesn't take long to strip a bed.

GO Ebay is pretty easy to sell on but fees are crap tbh! Especially adding in paypal fees. But this is the only way i can think to sell all this stuff. Would do a car boot if i had a car lol!

Morning

Ruby you are a Xmas angel .

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

I am because the nursery manager tells me that due to early yrs funding my nursery fees are going to halve!! (This will be my Xmas fund - after cleared credit card ).

I am because DH decided to drill a hole in the kitchen wall last night and covered everything with plaster dust .

To do:
House bless
run
boot laundry
mend ds trousers

This week i am washing all winter clothes from the loft and putting in draws then making a list of who needs what (doesn't look like much).

Report
tortoise · 15/09/2008 12:44

Oh yes we will be doing the table cloth again lol. That was fun.

We would have to go to a daytime showing cos no transport in evenings.
