Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by and . So if you type www.mumsnet.com, the link will display as www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at this page", would display "Look at this page".

You can find this under the smileys on the bottom right hand said of your page btw

I mean in simple language not ikea instuction language. Soupy showed me how to do the old stylee links in dummy language and it worked. I want dummy instuctions!

i don't understand "old" way -
i press control v, or the copy button on the thread thing at the top of the page, and then control c, or paste, with these surrounding it.
any good

ok first highlight and copy the link to the thread you want to link to(hint: just copy the address bar)

then insert 2 of these [

then paste your link

then type a space, then type 'here'

then type 2 of these ]

so it should look like this:

link here

Slarty, your link should automatically open a new page, if not just right click on it and choose 'open new page' or 'open new tab' from menu
