Mine are:

Out of Africa
The Piano
The English Patient

Can't decide whether Out of Africa or The Piano were more hideously dull. And the English Patient was just bloody irritating - it was such a relief when he died.

Remember going to see 'Ghost' in the cinema and someone sitting behind me sobbed so loudly.

And I just sat there wondering what all the fuss was about!!!!

Definitely The English Patient - just manipulative pish, really.
Ghost. Crap.
Love Actually was redeemed by that one story where the best friend is (unaccountably) in love with Kiera Knightly but is unable to say anything becaus ehe loves his friend too.
I loved the Piano though, but in an "I'm 20 and sensitive" sort of way.
American beauty made a big impression on me because of the performances but I saw it again and thought it was rather trite.

I'll throw in Gladiator.

Truly Madly Deeply - just embarrassing.

Also Shirley Valentine - the scene where she was was apparently walking through Mayfair with her Sainsburys bags on her way home finished it for me and it got worse after that.

Good Will Hunting, moondog.

Actually quite liked that.
