help can't upload picture to sell on ebay

I am trying to sell a dress on ebay and when I go to click on add a picture a little beep comes up, usually when this happens iI left click and a little popper comes up giving me the option to open in another window or tab.

This time when I left click a little window pops up giving me no options that would let me upload a photo, any one any ideas.

I hope this post makes sense, am tearing my hair out in frustrstion

any help greatly appreciated

There are two different uploaders on Ebay - which one are you using?

I always find the simple (or it may be called standard?) uploader works better.

Also, when you list the item, are you using the 'quick list' or the advanced list?

Ignore the 'quick' one.... it won't let you upload photos at all.

pretty sure its the standard uploader and am using the advanced list.

the left click button also never works when someone posts a link on a thread so i usually right click and a window pops up giving me the option of opening in new window or tab so i can see the link but for some reason when i right click on add a picture a window pops up giving me options that unable me to download

am i making sense

OK,

have logged onto Ebay.

Yes, choose advanced list.
When it comes to photos: Go to 'add photos' and left click on it. Choose 'basic' (well, that always works best for me)

You can't right click it. It won't give you the option to upload using a right click. COuld it be your mouse isn't working? That's all I can think?

Have just done it now and it's working fine for me, so nothing wrong with Ebay site....

hi haribo,

went off to bed so only getting back now.

it won't let me left click it so i have to right click to see if i can bring up another window in which for it to work, but when i right click the window that appears gives me no options.

quite often esp. for some reasi=on when it comes to clicking on links i am unable to left click so i right click and it gives me the option to open in another window.

i use a laptop so not using a mouse using the panel thingy and buttons

am i making any sense

am wondering if this means i can't sell anything on ebay with a photo now

Can you choose self hosting?

If you create a public directory (Facebook for instance) then you could add a link to the photos in your description.

I think that would be worth a go.

TBH, I wouldn't list anything without photos. People will just pass on it. I know I would...
