hmmm if it wasnt sent recorded, you will probably have to refund. You need proof of delivery to win a paypal dispute, not just proof of delivery

I always get proof of postage and i say clearly on my ebay page that that is what I offer if god forbid something went astray then I would help them trace it and do what I could but at the end of the day with buyers resenting postage as it is its v hard, recorded delivery is only proof it was received nothing to trace it on its journey there and you pay extra for it so short of sending everything special delivery I dont see how sellers or buyers can win with missing parcels.

having said that its xmas post is delayed nd i dont think royl mail will even investigate until its 'missing' 14 days ....

Use Parcelforce 24 or 48 instead of standard parcel because you get a signature at the other end. Its more expensive though.

I usually always do recorded but didn't realise you could do so with parcels!
Should have sent via courier.
She being really nice have advised her to check with her collection office and i will with mine tom!
They say 15 days before it is lost would that include Sat ??

How do you know that she really hasn't received it? This happens so much with ebay.

I' in same situation, sent on 9/12, still not arrived, buyer has opened dispute with paypal and they'v taken money back. Don't see there's much I can do about it. I have proof of postage but that's not really worth the paper it's printed on

Recorded delivery costs about 65p. Surely most people can cover that?

Not on standard parcels though!
I didn't realise i could send recorded.
Sent similair item this week and to send recorded would have been an extra couple pounds as item only sold for £5 it's not rally worth covering costs yourself.
I will factor it in when listing though next time.
My buyer has waited till 15th day tom so will refund her then and start claim.
Natural claim from RM.
