GRRRR...snipers

Is it just me or do they piss others off too? I mean, I know Im supposed to put in my max bid from start, but an items been on for 10 days with no bids, and I just put in £1 higher than starting price with an hour to go, and a sniper came in literally 5 seconds before end of auction and taken it if they had bid with 1 min to go, I would have upped my bid...

Ive checked his recent activity and all things he has won recently have been the same tactic.

Its just seems unfair...

If i've been bidding on something for a few days i get so annoyed.
I must admit i have done the same once or twice, but that's only if i've just found a particular item i like.
Half the time i never win it anyway.
But yes, is annoying.

put in your highest bid amount in the last 30 seconds.

use a auction sniper to place the bid in the final secs for you. If you need a good one, I can recommend one

It's only annoying because you think you have only been outbid by 50p or a £1. In reality the sniper could have put in a max bid of £50/£100 greater than your last bid.

I never bid without sniping. Just put in your highest bid and walk away. It saves you going over budget and getting carried away. I don't do it just to piss other bidders off

Thanks Lisa, but since I dont like when its done to me, I wont use it to win other stuff.

wheresthehamster- good point! I was bidding on a 99p toy tho but will tell myself it went to some little girl who has no toys (and try to forget that its prob someone who is gonna sell it on at a much higher price)

I go in at the last 30 seconds on an auction, with my max bid, because I hate bumping up the price..

i confess i do this lots resulting in many many bargains - i heartily recommend this tactic you need to be alert in final 30 sec

I only use sniper if i am going to be out. Don't want to bid early and bump the price up. If i am here i bid in the last 30 seconds.

I usually always bid in last 30 secs unless im out when i just proxy to my max level. Never used one of those automatic things though as i like doing the bidding part myself. I do prefer buy it now auctions though as hating waiting for auctions to end.

I use a sniper to save me getting carried away and bidding more than I want to, also I often forget auctions are ending or miss stuff because Im busy
