eBay

Same tracking number for 4 items, only one arrived, all saying delivered.

I bought 4 items from the same seller, one ALOT more money than the other 3.
All 4 items were given the same tracking number, just had one item delivered, and we signed for it.
Now all 4 items are saying delivered according to the tracking information the seller has given Ebay.
Starting to stress we're not going to get the other items and because the seller has given the same (valid) tracking number for all the items that I won't have a leg to stand on.
Does anyone know the rules?
I've messaged the seller but I'm not really going to stop stressing till I get a reply or my items. Help?

Note we've recieved the cheapest and smallest item, the curious is yodel. I wouldn't be stressing so much if the expensive item had been delivered.

Oh, that's odd. Was there any indication on the parcel how much it weighed? Surely they'd have sent them altogether if they were going to the same place. Did you ask for combine postage? Do you still have the packaging that the single item arrived in?

They were all pre packed items from a business seller.
I received a fly zapper. But also ordered a sun lounger, an aerobic step, and the item I'm most worried about, a 3m x 3m £250 pergola, so a box to fit all 4 of them in together just wouldn't have been practical.
I've spoken to yodel who say their records indicate they only ever had one parcel under my address, not sure how helpful that is.
Postage was free so I didn't need to request combined postage or anything.

I’d think all items would have their own tracking number? You couldnt track four things with one number surely as it’s barcodes??

Report to ebay

They are usually good in buyers favour and also paypal as back up

They'll have had the same consignment number but different parcel numbers.
Ask the sender for the parcel numbers.

They're probably just on the drivers van as he will have had to scan all 4 onto his route.

Did you have to sign for them?

We’ve given up with eBay, so much hassle. Yodel states had delivered a parcel and left in a safe place, never received, click and collect don’t receive notification of parcel ready to collect and sellers not helpful.

I did sign for the one.
Then I had an update through ebay saying all 4 parcels had been delivered. Which they haven't.
I think the seller has just used the same tracking information for all 4 items and probably hasn't sent the other 3 yet. But now theres no way for me to track them, and I think itll be harder to complain with Ebay if they dont then up because Ebay's system is saying they've been delivered.
Such a pain in the arse. And stressing because the pergola was loads of money for us but we wanted the garden to look nice for the summer as we've always lived in flats before now.

Don’t stress. I had something a bit similar (lower value items but 2 were supposed to arrive together, packaging was ripped and only one in there).
I ping ponged emails with the seller, then raised a dispute as neither of us would back down. It went in my favour.

So give the seller reasonable time to reply (fine to send more emails to chase) then raise a dispute if it’s not resolved.

They turned up 🤦🏻‍♀️
Turns out they'd sent the items through tuffnells, who seemed to have then sent the one item to yodel as it was smaller. The bigger items were delivered this morning through tuffnells themselves.
No more stress for me :)

Oh, that's good news.

Pleased they arrived. Larger items they often ship direct from a warehouse, not all things are stored in the same location and they can all arrive at a different time. It isn't only on Ebay this happens.

What Unnecessary stress though!
