Hi cag

Thanks wolf

sea could you try selling on Facebook? I ebayed the nicer bits of my maternity clothes. The rest I charity shopped. There were a couple of bits I kept in case. But my logic was if I have another ill want new stuff and it wasn’t expensive stuff anyway. Mostly H&M asos stuff so easily replaceable.

Tomorrow is my first full week back at work. I get paid a week tomorrow. Yippeeeeee!!! So I have to make this week count.

Things to do this week:

  • appointment at bank on Friday to open ds an account (wasn’t going to buy people have been asking about christening gifts...)
  • get Dh to chase up non rsvp-ers (all his family)
  • arrange meeting with vicar
  • cal reception venue and confirm numbers for food
  • meet lovely newly engaged friend
  • arrange time to meet with potential new personal trainer (dh said he’d pay for training sessions after I had ds and I haven’t wanted to go for it yet but think I’ve found someone. It’s not for ever just to give me a boot up the arse to actually gym and not just dick around!)
  • food shop and meal plan
  • sort out bank accounts.

I just chose a nice outfit for tomorrow. Skirt with bare legs. Then got into my jammies. And saw the state of my legs and feet. Bruised side of knee and bruised shin on right leg, grazed left knee and bruised ankle and left top of foot. Obviously from last nights antics. Re thought outfit and green trousers with cat print shirt and black flats.

Hope meadow is okay as well, she seems quiet.

I'm very tired, been a busy wend and still not caught up on household stuff, think may just try and leave it for another day and head to bed...

Oh dear em sounds like you had a blast! Its been a long time (like 16 years) since I had a night out worthy of unidentified bruises.

Quiet day here, potting on baby plants, digging, making waffles for hungry dc. Cottage pie for tea, dp did the filling, I did the mash. A frugal unheard of, we finished a tub of mascarpone before it went rank.

I have knitted a lot of mini mermaids tonight, they still need hair and faces though. Very behind on my work too. The baby bike seat things made enough to offset the exhaust (thank goodness).

£7 in the co-op, milk (as ever), peas and ice creams. They have new ones in, cornetto type, unicorn sprinkly ones, and dark chocolate, very tasty, but the ice cream was grey Confused

Thanks wolf for the thread, hope you had a nice weekend after all.

Oh I wanted to try those unicones! Didn’t have them in my local coop though and when I did see them in another one there were only 3 of us (not that DH could eat them anyway because gluten). OTOH the pineapple ice cream lolly things are AMAZING.

Am ok thank you 💐 just tired and stressy stresshead. I wish I was one of those people who just got stuff done rather than flapped about. Caglets are better too thank you.

Frugal win of the day, someone had unceremoniously ditched a bunch of flowers by the river, so I nabbed a lily to dissect tomorrow (we’ve been doing plant science stuff). 😂

Life I'm just aiming for 10000 steps a day for this week, then next week I'm going to introduce home heroes workout(following seeing Vikki's muscle definition after just 4 weeks of doing it) and increase steps to 11000, I do ok food wise most of the time.

Em are your legs not sore with that amount of bruises and scrapes? I used to get those injuries from obstacle course runs, haven't done one of them in a while, next year hopefully.

I made yummy turkey taco mince tonight & had it in a wrap enchilada style tonight, other two portions will be with rice for lunch at work.

Thanks for new thread wolf

I've decided to cancel our cleaners contract, I've been overlooking the fact that she doesn't move couches/clean under them for a long time and the fact that my house doesn't sparkle after she's been like it did with my old cleaner but this week came the straw to break the camels back. Ds split Epsom salts night before she comes, I picked up most of it but didn't sweep it all up as it was late night before she was due to come. Well I lifted the wash basket yesterday to discover Epsom salts still on the floor which means that floor wasn't brushed or mopped which is one of the main basic tasks I've asked for Angry

Ta for the new thread wolf
Waves tocag

I am suffering from cantbearseditis again / still. I have done very little just planted up pots of herbs and made my very first hanging basket.
DD has GCSE exams tomorrow...the first written ones. I am pleased she got her art out of the way and found out the provisional mark before she starts properly. I seems to have settled her. Hopefully she sleeps ok.

That's very exciting about the Baftas Love. Well done to your db! I don't think it matters if he didn't win. Just being there must be hugely exciting and is very impressive.

I'm off to my GP today to confess to the fact that there is no vitamin D supplement that I can get on with. Sunshine and short sleeves for me.

Hi everyone, i'd like to join :) steps I took this month to save money:

Season ticket loan with my boss, which saves me £60 per month on travel.

I took lunch in every day last week, and I'm doing the same this week. This week is going to be gluten free tuna pasta bake and fruit (not together). As I'm in London, this is saving me £5-10 per day. I also make a lot of use of the office's free coffee! :D

Green jinn app has 40p off bananas in Sainsburys, works out at 10p per banana. Your nectar app might have 100 bonus nectar points off your next shop.

Morning all. seacow she's gone onto summery sunshine times. What's the line in Frozen? "The skys awake so I'm awake" annoyingly I like that film

Ooo GCSE exams, fingers crossed unescorted dd1 has her first btec exam on wednesday, she's a bit excited as a yr10 doing a 'real' exam. I think the novelty will wear off. She went for a fun and potentially useful btec over French or RE!

I don't know what today will be, no plans yet, but I had better wake some dc up!

Glad you are still reading cag, just do things at your own pace. We're here when you want us.
