I work in nhs and they are pretty much doing all of us that want it. You just say whether you think you've had it, live with someone you think had it or no symptoms etc. Had mine Sunday still awaiting results, don't think me or DH have had it though had to self isolate due to temp but no other symptoms!

I'd love to have it for me and the whole family but it's pricey

I think it would be so interesting to know who has had it if they've had either no or very mild symptoms especially in the local area and full of optimism that we've all had it now and that's the dangerous part over with.

I think if you've had symptoms and it came back negative you would get very anxious that it was still to come

I've never had any symptoms so expecting a negative but a colleague, who thought she had it in February, tested positive for antibodies.

Please everyone who has had a test keep us updated.

I'm having mine tomorrow. I had some symptoms consistent with Covid 19 at the end of March before a test was available (I'm a nurse and had dry persistent cough, mild fevers and dizziness).
Many of my colleagues have had theirs already this week and most are coming back negative but there are a fair few including those who have never had any symptoms who are coming back positive.
We've all been working very closely over the last few months - it's been impossible to socially distance effectively while caring for patients so it's interesting that some of us have had exposure/generated antibodies but not others.

I had one on Monday, awaiting results.
They said likely 5-7 days as so many to get through at the moment (NHS worker)

My partner had it, I should have been having it today, but is my day off (both NHS workers) she had Covid symptoms tested positive for Covid and her antibody results came back positive from two separate tests (they thought they lost the first sample so took another).

My 79yo FiL living in a care home with Alzheimer's and vascular dementia just tested positive for CV19 antibodies when beating treated in hospital for sepsis. No one had any idea he'd ever had it 🤷‍♀️

I had mine at work (also a nurse). It came back negative. They didn't ask if I had ever been symptomatic. I know of 2 colleagues so far who came back positive, one had had symptoms a few weeks ago and the other had not.

I would love to have one.
I’m an NHS worker who was redeployed to covid wards but back in my normal job now. I was definitely in the minority of staff who didn’t have time off because of having symptoms.

All NHS workers regardless of role are eligible. Perhaps speak with your line manager. We have been told to speak with our management to get a form filled out then an appointment will be booked for us.

@Char2015
I’m in Wales so it’s likely that what you’ve been told applies to England only.
We’ve heard nothing from within our health board, only what’s been reported in the news.

I’d be interested to have one, but I’m not eligible. I have friends in the US who are healthcare workers who have asked why I don’t go get an antibody test, and that they would test me if I was there now. The reason I would like one is because my husband commuted a lot to London on public transport between Christmas and lockdown and towards the first week of March came down with something very flu-like. He was ill for weeks. I had a cough, sniffles, and lost my sense of smell round the middle of March (back when the only official symptoms were a cough and fever and therefore I presumed I just had a cold). I’m also very obese, so if I have had it and that’s all it was, I would feel a lot less stressed out about the whole thing.

My husband had his positive result through this week (NHS staff). We were pretty sure he had it at Easter although they were not routinely testing at that point. I was strangely relieved to get the results - think I may have had it myself the week after but don't suppose I'll ever know for sure. It makes me less worried for us all somehow
