Hi all,

Now in my TWW. We have been trying for DC #2 since October 19 and I had a chemical early March.

I usually use Clearblue Dig Ovulation tests but this month I just used cheapie OPK's.

Fingers and toes crossed 🤞🏻

Would love you hear all of your TTC stories.

@Hayleylou89 Oh I'm so sorry for your loss. That would be absolutely devastating for you but glad to hear you are trying again. Fingers crossed! We have a little girl who is now 6 and we're now desperate for our 2nd and last child.

@Aluasen Fingers and toes crossed! When are you planning on testing? I got my BFP in Feb at 11dpo but have heard some can get theirs earlier.

I'm only 1dpo and I'm not going to test until 23/4. Well I say that, I'll try my hardest not to test too early 🙈

Hey! Sorry so for your losses:(. I’m currently 5 DPO. I have some lower abdo pain these last few days not like cramps but a dull ache!? And my legs are aching so bad too when I go out for a walk. Very strange never had this before! Anyone got any other symptoms? Think I might test on Friday I know it’s too soon but too excited! Xxx

Hi Ladies!
I’ll join too if that’s alright ✨

Hey there @Hayleylou89 love bumping into familiars 😊

I’m currently at 10DPO and although we’ve been trying for #1 since December, last month was the first cycle I noticed real EWCM so I feel like all the other cycles my body was still trying to get back to normal after having an IUD in for 7 yrs.

My husband had radio therapy on a tumor o his inner thigh during the summer of 2018, and the fertility check up after 1year wasn’t great news, but we decided to try naturally for at least 6months anyway and he’s going for a follow up and scan this week. Crossing my fingers it’s good news 🤞🏻 I have hope that we can conceive naturally, it only takes one sucker to fertilize my egg so let’s goooo

Anyway baby dust to all of you, let’s make this thread the BFP thread of BFP threads ✨👏🏻

Hi everyone,

I’m currently in the TWW and am 10dpo. This is our first cycle of TTC our first baby. I didn’t realise how stressful the TWW was going to be! I had a bit of cramping a few days ago, some nausea and sore boobs but I’m finding it quite easy to get caught up in potential symptoms when they could mean anything. Just need to wait and see and I’m glad to be able to talk to other people waiting too.

Hi! 🙋🏻‍♀️ Been trying since Oct 19 for DC1, currently 5DPO, no early testing for me, will wait to see if AF shows her ugly face! She’s due on 21st. Trying to promise myself not to symptom spot this month but I never keep my promise!
Hope this month brings us all good news and possible Christmas babies!

@KSI88 I'm going to try to wait until the 22nd to test if I can resist the urges 😂 I should be 14dpo by then. Its going to be difficult for me to test any earlier anyway due to my work schedule (I'm a key worker and pretty set on only using fmu which isn't always easy to do when at work 😂)
What about you? When are you going to start testing?
One thing I have noticed though this cycle, which I've never had before, is (TMI maybe) my nipples have been super sensitive since ovulation. I thought it was just one of those quirks of ovulation but hasn't seemed to have gone away. I don't want to start thinking into it though 😂

Morning ladies. Great to see lots of you joining in on this thread. An exciting time for us all. Let's hope web get our BFP's this month! 🤞🏻💕

@Aluasen It's so tempting to test early. I got my BFP in Feb at 11dpo but had been testing since 7dpo. Hubby thinks I'm mad as I've ordered loads (and I mean loads) of internet cheapie tests for when the time comes 🙈 Along with FRER and clear blues! I'm a nightmare. At this rate I'll be doing a test every hour to use them up 😁 I'll try and wait until 24th to test as I'll be 12 dpo then.
I wonder if the sensitive nipples could be a sign for you. I noticed with me I had very creamy, lotion like CM (sorry TMI) in the week after ovulation so I'll be looking out for that again.

@incywincyspiders I'm the same as you. It's so hard! Do you have any children just now or would this be your first?

@ZRS86 I know, it's really hard not to symptom spot. We've been trying since October and every month I was certain that every twinge in my lower abdomen was it! When I had my chemical in Feb I did notice very creamy CM before my BFP but looking online we all have different symptoms. Wish it was something obvious so that we knew for definite! Grin

@gingerglitter4ever Hoping you get your BFP this month! As you say it only takes one! When are you planning on testing?

@Felicia6 I know what you mean with your mind playing games. The only month I didn't symptom spot I got my BFP. When are you going to test?

@Nat4392 Can I have some of your willpower? I'm a nightmare for testing early!

how are you doing?

@KSI88 no, no children yet. Do you? This is the first month TTC ever so I know that this journey could take a long long time and that makes me anxious (as I'm sure it does everyone). How are you going to pass these next two weeks?? It's even worse cos of lockdown I think!

Nat4392 · 14/04/2020 10:46

@KSI88 don’t get me wrong, I was a serial tester from 9DPO when I first started TTC but I came to realise I was basically peeing on money every month and I’d be so gutted seeing a negative result. I’ve found it easier mentally (and financially!) to just wait for AF. I’m only on cycle #8 and I stopped testing around cycle #5 and it’s really helped keep me sane!

KSI88 · 14/04/2020 10:55

@Nat4392 Yes you're absolutely right. It costs a fortune. I've went online and bought lots and lots of cheap tests to start using. I hated wasting FRER's too. I'm just too tempted all the time because I know they are there. Part of me wants to see how early I can get a positive too - that didn't help me with my chemical in Feb. If I'd have left it, it would have just been like a late period for me and would have saved a lot of heartache. Let's see what happens this month.

@incywincyspiders Exciting times. I hope you get your BFP this month. We were very lucky with our 1st who's now 6. We conceived first try with her. I didn't think it would be so easy this time round and I was right! Spending most of my time in the garden to distract me and to stop me from eating everything in sight! I'm going to try and wait until 24th to test 🤞🏻

@KSI88 got my fingers crossed for you too!! I can imagine it's difficult if you had a fast conception the first time to waiting for your second.. I'm just worried as I'm 31 that it's going to take a long long time. I've wanted to start trying for a while but my partner wasn't quite ready.

@incywincyspiders There's never a perfect time to start trying for a baby is there? We weren't sure what to do with this Coronavirus but here we are 😁 I had my first at 26 and I'm 32 now. I had been on Cerazette since having my daughter 6 years ago so I was worried it would take forever. At least we now know i can still conceive. I went and bought a 'Born in 2020' baby grow too in Feb - silly me because it won't be 2020 now. My own fault!

@KSI88 same with me! I've actually only been on the pill for 1 and a half years but I was convinced that it would take ages to get my cycle back. Came off on 23rd March and tracked with OPKs and thankfully I ovulated only a few days after I "normally" would. I've read a lot of people say on here that it's irresponsible to ttc while corona is going on but honestly, like you said, there is no right time to have a child. And it might take a while anyway so I just thought there's not much point in waiting around.

It might be 2020 if you conceive this month! my potential "due date"says 1st January...

Report
KSI88 · 14/04/2020 11:28

@incywincyspiders Never say never, would love for it to be 2020 🤞🏻 My dates are looking at 7th January if we conceive this cycle. I agree with you, hubby did say that he didn't want to put our life on hold and I agree because like you say it could take a while. We're at home during lockdown and I'm not going out unless absolutely necessary, so we're just being careful.

That's great that you've ovulated straight away. My cycles went back to normal straight away too. I'm anything from 25 days to 28 days. I had previously read online that some women who had been on the pill found it took forever for their cycles to return to normal so I was panicking at first.
