It's a great name for a puppy, less so a human baby

Eastenders character.
Haven't heard it in RL.

Cute for a little girl, but It would be hard to be taken seriously as an adult.

She will be patronisedly called “honey” repeatedly throughout her life.

Get her a proper name, she is not a puppy (but if you are a celebrity you may be able to get away with it)

Don’t hold back 😆
I’m not sure it’s just one of them I think could be nice then I get my logical head back on and think hmmm maybe not

I like it, but I do agree that it will probably make life a little more difficult for her than others.

It's like "Baby". Or "Sweetie". Fine as a nickname, weirdly impersonal as an actual name.

Ug! No, give her a name not a food source

It would be lovely on a girl - as long as the girl is a golden Labrador.

Don't do it! There was a child called that at my DS''s school, and no matter how long I knew the poor child it always sounded riculuous. Poor kid is in high school now and I can't imagine she's having an easy time with a name like that...

Don't do it. Middle name perhaps? Imagine if she married Mr Potts and took his surname?

I know a very bright 13 or 14 yo called Honey. Unfortunately I can't help being slightly surprised she's so able and down to earth. My own prejudices showing, sorry.

It’s a good name for an escort or a porn star

I like the way it sounds but don't think it's an appropriate name for a person.

So when a male colleague calls her at work...Honey can you help me? When a colleague calls her and the gf/wife hears half the conversation...Sure Honey I’ll give you a ride on Monday...
Life’s too short, that name will be troublesome
