He was from Malawi. A tough name to live with in the UK but he lived up to it Grin He was very proud. Not sure that will inspire any of you but it brought a smile to my face.

Ah. I used to know a man called Comfort Golightly. Always bought a smile to my face - he was huge and rugged, but had such a delicate, ballerinary kind of name.

I know people called Praise, Peace, Gifty, Blessing (x2), and Precious . I love all of these names and they are all lovely people Smile. On the other hand, I know a PrinceWil who was phenomenally arrogant and a giant PITA!

It is very common in Southern Africa for Africans to have names like the ones mentioned in these posts. Precious, Pretty, Blessing etc. How wonderful to have such a happy name :)

So much less prim than the Victorian virtue names - Faith, Hope, Charity, Grace etc

I know two Cleversons! Patience, Gift, Prosper, Victory, Happy, Blessing... the list goes on. I know a man called Mercy, it really suits him.

I do wonder though if Cleverson has a brother named Averageson somewhere.

Efficient is among the best names I've heard!
